Who would you like to see in Hell In A Cell?
 

Recently watched the HIAC DVD and got to thinking:

Which wrestler(s) from the current WWE roster would you like to see tear it up inside the Cell?

As a reminder, these are the guys that have been involved in HIAC already...

Undertaker
HHH
Jericho
HBK
Batista
Edge
Big Show
Vince
Shane
Kane

I'd like to see Jericho and Punk tear it up in the cell. That match would be pretty epic. They have great chemistry together.

Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker without question

HBK vs Jericho
Triple H vs Randy Orton (I think this will happen this year)
Triple H vs Undertaker
Edge vs John Cena

I think whenever Edge and Cena have their true final battle, HIAC would be perfect. Cena & Edge have great chemistry and Cena can pull off these gimmick matches pretty well.

Triple H and Undertaker know how to have a great HIAC match. HBK and Jericho are always good...in anything.

HHH vs. Undertaker could work. HHH would need to bring his A game which a lot of the time he doesn't anymore.

Is there a reason you left Orton off of this list?

I'd like to see Edge vs Christian in that shit.

As good as their WrestleMania match was, they'd find it hard to top the original 1997 HIAC match nowadays. In fact, I think any future matches between these two would suffer from unmet expectations and diminishing returns.

If you don't count their clusterfuck match at Ground Zero in 1997, Taker and Michaels have a perfect trio of matches. Best HIAC ever, best Casket match ever and one of the best straight matches ever seen. They should leave it at that.

Also, although all of these answers are great, they are all pretty obvious. I actually menat which completely new guys would you like to see in the Cell?

So whilst the idea of Orton v HHH or Taker v HHH (which I think needs to happen realy) is not only viable but also interesting, they have both been in there before.

So, which guys that have never been in a HIAC match would you like to see in there?

they should have had Taker/HBK HIAC back in 2007 at No Mercy..... kinda like a 10 year anniversary of the first..... but as for newer talent..... I could go for a 6 way at this years Armageddon Edge vs. Jericho vs. Christian vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Mysterio vs. Morrison

For completely new talent I'd like to see Christian, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, and Matt Hardy. Kane was technically in a HIAC, but no one remembers that. I'd love to see Kane in the midst of a continual monster push in a HIAC.

Like Armageddon 2000, a six man. Undertaker, Batista, HHH, HBK, Orton, and either Edge or Cena. That would be a bad ass match and would a good remake of that match with todays superstars. A lot of great chemistry between all of the wrestlers and you couldnt go wrong with it.

Only Jeff Hardy Belongs in The Hell in a Cell match everybody is too old or just looks soft

If they where to put Kane in one again, I would want him in the mask again because they have made him into a pussy now.

6 of those 7 have been involved before. Every single HIAC has featured one of two men (HHH or Taker) off that list.

Yeah there was. It lasted barely 2 minutes before Taker got involved and the match lasted less than 10 minutes total before Austin caused a DQ.

I'd hardly bother counting that (and Taker was involved heavily in the match and it's story). ;)

I would have liked to have seen Jeff/Matt in a cell, but obviously a TLC match would fit better for those guys.

If I'm honest, I can't see any of the newer guys pulling a Hell in a Cell off. It might be because we're spoilt in terms of Elimination chamber, etc. but also when you think of hell in a cell, you think of a feud that's gone on for a long time that needs settling in a brutal way...the cell provides that and currently, I can only imagine Orton/Triple H pulling something like that off.

Has Kane ever been in HIAC?

I read most of the list, and stopped before Kane, lol. I don't remember Kane Vs Mankind.

I truthfully think that Matt Hardy would be great in Hell in a Cell. He's a ring general, and is known for planning out a lot of the matches he has been in. He would work some big spots in, as well as tell a great story. He's also approaching the stage where he is important enough to be in Hell in a Cell with the right opponent. He could also bust a ladder out during the match, which would make people mark out, and would fit his history.

Rey Mysterio is another guy that I think would do well in that environment. I remember posting on here that I think his feud with Eddie Guerrero could have gone to Hell in a Cell, especially if it moved past that Dominic shit. For all the shit he gets, Rey can really step it up as a worker, and he could get tossed around like crazy in a HIAC match. And you could expect at least one really innovative spot.
