Anyone notice that old guy in the PPV crowds

Saw him at WM25, and tonight on JD.

He's always been in the middle, he wears some bright jumpers, and gets well into it. First time i seen the same fan at multiple events.

......................And somewhere in Texas, Rick the Sign Guy is crying.............

Yeah, saw him at a house show in Texas. Brought multiple signs, heckled the heels, started chants, etc.

I like watching the crowd seeing how they react, and it makes me happy to see an old gent likes his wrestling.

Don't tell me in all your years you've never seen Rick the Sign Guy?
Red hat, blue work shirt opened up, white tee shirt, a few MILLION signs.... He's a fan that has his own fan following.

Saw sign guy at Mania and marked out.

You mean the bald guy in the pink shirt? His wife wears yellow. I sat behind them once. They've been at it for YEARS now.

Yeah, always notice him a lot. Have mentioned this somewhere else on this forum recently. How does he get to so many shows??

Anybody Thrilla 05-18-2009 05:25 PM

My friend had a theory that him and his wife (she's always right next to him) won the lottery or something, so now they just follow around the WWE all over the place.

Anybody Thrilla 05-18-2009 05:25 PM

They always have great tickets for TV events. Usually front row. I saw one row behind them at a house show back in like 1996.

I remember last Summer watching WWE I must have seen him on every show and PPV for about 3 months straight.

Vastardikai 05-18-2009 06:26 PM

I also remember the Faith No More guy and Hawaiian Shirt guy from ECW and always seems to be near the front row of Hammerstein shows.

I still believe he's on WWE's payroll, or at least was at some point.

Anybody Thrilla 05-18-2009 06:30 PM

He definitely did that WWE Fan Nation commercial.

Anybody Thrilla 05-18-2009 06:30 PM

Sorry, Raw Nation.

Savio 05-18-2009 08:42 PM

They had a special on him on Confidential

Triple Naitch 05-19-2009 12:19 AM

He was on Deal or No Deal too as a contestant.

Zeeboe 05-20-2009 09:43 PM

Anyone remember that Howard Stern looking guy, only he had a long beard and mustache with his long hair. He also had dark sunglasses. I remember seeing him at all kinds of WWF and ECW events in the 90's. He usually cheered for the heels. He was always at the big time PPV's, as well as many of the Raw's and ECW TV tapings.

There's also that skinny looking guy with the glasses too that was always around as well. Heck, I saw him at WWF events even back in the 80's

Volare 05-21-2009 07:51 AM

I do believe he was at KOTR 98' and the front row fans went nuts when The Rock won his match against Dan Severn.

Vastardikai 05-21-2009 07:25 PM

Zeeboe, he was the guy I referred to when I said "Faith No More guy," due to his looking like Jim Martin, formerly of Faith No More.
