Wonder if he'll slaughter babies in this one.

Just wiki-surfed to Cannibal Holocaust and wow, that sounds like one fucked up film.

Yeah, you don't want to.

Reason this is news is because of the controversy of the first one. Not because of the quality. Because it had very little.

Nervous Ferret 05-21-2009 03:10 AM

lol Impaled. That is awful.

I've been meaning to see Cannibal Holocaust

Mr. Nerfect 05-21-2009 07:24 AM

Yeah, I've actually heard good things about the subtext behind Cannibal Holocaust. I mean, you can find meaning in anything if you look for it, but there were points brought up about how the visitors to that tribe's part of the jungle actually provoked the cannibals, and how their attitudes came back to, well...get them eaten.

I'd rather see horror films like that than tripe like Hostel.

There ar far better, and more thought provoking stories that use that sort of element. In this movie's case, it is just an attempt to justify what is essentialy snuff film. Seriously, the whole "maybe we are the real savages" theme, is extremely tacked on, in this case. If you didn't like hostel, you won't like this.
