Fuck Burst Limit 2! Dimps got their opportunity to produce another DBZ game, and all fingers are pointing to a sequel to the Tenkaichi engine!! I am freaking out over this. Burst Limit was nice in a 2003 sort of way, but I loved the Tenkaichi engine much better. I feel the Tenkaichi engine serviced DBZ better than the Budokai engine. Sorry for lack of links and pics, I will hook up this thread when more news arrives. But it appears unlikely that Dimps would continue the Burst Limit backtrack.

More on this possible "Tenkaichi 4" when I can!

I'm just curious... what could be added? I mean Tenkaichi(sp?) 3 had nearly everyone and everybody that could be in a DBZ game in it. It had every storyline from DBZ in it.

I mean what left is there to do? What left is there to add?

3 did NOT have everyone. There are a ton of characters from Dragonball and GT that could be put in, as well as a lot more movie characters.

Hopefully this one will have visuals like Naruto Ninja Storm.

I liked 3. When I did a super exaggerated power special, I blew up the Earth. It was awesome. I'll keep an eye on this as well.

Also they could refine the engine to streamline certain conventions (lock-on still needs work, aerial raves are too damn difficult to pull off).

The only problem I had with the Tenkaichi setup was the split screen verse mode, my cousin refuses to play games with split screen.

Well, he has a problem with split screen fighters, others as split he doesn't matter much but we only play together in fighters and WoW, though he isn't on the latter anymore as he went back to Ragnarok.

This is a series that doesn't really need a sequel. All it needs is an "Accent Core", if you follow Guilty Gear at all. A rerelease of Tenkaichi 3 with the remaining missing characters included and a few gameplay tweaks. Then stop. There's really nothing more that can be done after that.

DBZ has had some solid games. I think what they need to do is instead of making another fighting game bring out an RPG type game using the characters and storylines. with the exception of the ones for GBA and Sagas for the ps2/xbox.

Or, they could just rerelease(finally release in NA) http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0...rart_large.png onto XBL and PSN as an HD remix, after all the already doing it with another of my favourite SNES games, TMNT IV - TiT.

Tenkaichi 3 really was a fucking boss DBZ game. Maybe the DBZ game.

My only beef with Tenkaichi 3 was the split screen vs mode, otherwise that game was awesome.

I don't really like Dragonball, but the action seems like a blast.

Also, I forgot how gay Japanese themes and voiceovers could be. I swear, it's the kind of theme music you'd hear in an 80s comedy about two "roommates" who never dated and barely even noticed girls....

To be fair, dragonball went from late 80's to early 90's.

Animation isn't quite up to par with Naruto UNS, but it's still pretty awesome. Don't know if i'm gonna get this, as 70 charracters is still a major downgrade from tenkaichi 3.

Well, the audio is defaulted in english for NA copies and if you like the tune of the song it may be translated into english by that very artist like he did for Tenkaichi 3,Burst Limit and Infinite World.

This is an awesome game. Tenkaichi engine's really brushed up. Snatching this.

Played the demo over the weekend. The controls are great. a flick of the right joystick unleashed a kamehameha. I will be getting this

I think this comes out the same day as MW 2, so I won't be picking this up for a while.
