Could they be a "new power team"?
 

So with the Draft over and people like TBK, John Morrison and MVP establishing themselves on new shows I was wondering what do you think they should do with Eziekiel Jackson and Festus? I think that Festus dose have some potential without the "ring bell" gimmick. I think they could drop that gimmick and team up Big Ziek and the Corn fed Colossus, make them into a big man power team (APA, Kronik, Demolition, Powers of Pain, Twin Towers, T&A) They could get a mouthpiece (Slick, or Mr. Fuji), or maybe a hot piece of eye candy and they could go from there. Do you think they are worth keeping around or should they both just be released? (I'm sure TNA will pick them up, they took "Jethro Holiday" so I'm guessing they hire near anyone)

Let's just get this back on track, shall we? To be honest, no, I would not want to see Festus and Ezekiel Jackson as a tag team. For one, they are on different brands, and I'd like to see brand integrity sort of maintained, at least for a little while.

Festus is young, and is great at playing a character. He's got his uses, he just needs to polish off some more. Let him spend some time in FCW before being called back up to RAW's mid-card. A US Title reign for the guy is probably the best thing for him right now.

Ezekiel Jackson is a guy that I like. I think he has a quiet bad-ass charisma to him, but keep him on ECW. He just needs a role that he can grow into. Make him Tiffany's Assistant General Manager, or even have him replace her as the full-time GM, while he trains with Finlay, or something. Zack Ryder could use a fashion adviser, so that could be something Big Zeke could do, too.

After seeing this weeks ECW I'd drool over a DH/Benoit team (if he was still alive obviously) I know it wouldn't be a power team per-say but jesus.....


What about Jackson and whats his name, the guy who was with christian in TNA and WWE before he went to TNA, who's name escapes me.

For a power team I say a Somoan stable, at least 3 people. Singles wrestlers with 1 tag team in it. If not a stable atleast a team, Rikiski, Jamal(or is it Rosie, whoever isn't You-Man-Ga) and afa jr... I'm sure there is more from the Anoia extended family.

I'd like to see Tyson Tomko with The Brian Kendrick or even Christian again, actually. But I generally don't like power teams, because they usually lack a lot of substance.

In FCW, they had this tag team called the Samoan Fight Club, or something like that. They could work in the WWE.

The Road Warriors were the only "power" team I really ever gave a shit about. That is the big man squash team all others should aspire to be half as good as. And I mean the '80s Crocket badass two minute squash Road Warriors, Not the "Legion of Doom".

My guess is that the ECW writing team just doesn't know where to insert Big Zeke. He'll be used when they need a big black guy for something, and don't want Mark Henry.
