I lol'd right away. I'm not a wrestlecrap member, but I read the boards all the time, and those guys are probably going wild. Also for the fact that the feud is officially on, considering Batista threw the basketball to the crowd. The basketball has to fight back, lol.

They do alot of photoshops on the site, and most anytime they can involve Batista and a basketball.

I guess the main backstory is back when Batista was feuding with Khali. Khali crushed a basketball to show his strength. Batista responded with "basketballs don't hold grudges, but I do!" Ever since then, Batista and the basketball have been feuding on wrestlecrap, lol.

I don't get the whole "backstory", but Batista is comical in his own right and that picture is marvelous.

Its a wrestlecrap story thing been happening on their forums. Ever since the whole thing with Khali happened in 07, the crappers have been having fun at Batista's expense, saying that he is feuding with a basketball. He is also the main victim of all their photoshop threads. Some of them are pretty talented when it comes to the photoshopping. So for the first time in 2 years, Batista actually appears on WWE programming holding a basketball. Basically its their photoshop come to life.

So why should I care again? That's like if Sean O'Haire suddenly debuted from a cage that was suspended over the ring.

Because it's smarks getting lucky with a joke they've been playing around with. Let them have their Christmas.
