:y:

Orton's reactions after the back suplex he took seemed very realistic in nature.

Fox 05-29-2009 07:45 PM

Vid or GTFO.

Xero 05-29-2009 07:45 PM

Well, maybe Kennedy was trying to pull a JBL.

Looks like a legit reaction to me.

Then again, Orton was never a that great of a seller.

GD 05-29-2009 07:59 PM

He nailed Kennedy with a rather careless RKO in form of backlash.

What? Orton is one of the best and most unique sellers in the business. I don't think he was 'reacting' or pissed off etc

CSL 05-29-2009 08:40 PM

The fact this thread exists is a sign of how good his selling is

I agree. I think it was Randy's way of selling the fact he got caught off guard.

Shadow 05-29-2009 09:16 PM

His way of selling that was, "Why you son.."

Fignuts 05-29-2009 09:30 PM

Yeah, wtf, Orton's selling is what first made me like him.

Loose Cannon 05-30-2009 12:45 AM

yea, got to agree, Orton does a tremendous job with selling. His stuff always stood out to me. That reaction to me looked like he was pissed, especially when he took a swing at Kennedy right after he landed. lol

#1-norm-fan 05-30-2009 01:13 AM

After he was booted from Evolution, he was selling a concussion during a match with Triple H and he just had this look in his eyes every time he'd land on his head. It was pretty incredible.

"It is being reported that Randy Orton & Kennedy had words backstage after Raw went off the air, it wasn’t heated, but that Orton told him he had to be careful out there so he wouldn’t injure anyone in the ring. There wasn’t any other complaints backstage.

A possibility of a reason why Kennedy was released was the pull that Orton has with Vince McMahon. Another possibility is that because he is injury prone, and WWE wouldn’t be able to capitalize on their work on his character. The ladder of the two is more likely the reason he was released. It should also be noted that Vince soured on Kennedy last year when he was injured. A wrist injury during his first match back with the company likely didn’t help matters."

Seems like the reaction was real... ?

More news from tpww.net

As we reported earlier, Mr. Kennedy was officially released from World Wrestling Entertainment yesterday. This is coming as a shock to many. Kennedy had returned to Raw on Monday after rehabbing from a badly injured shoulder. Kennedy ended up injuring his wrist after taking a RKO from Randy Orton.

More soon.

So he legit hurts Orton, whether intentinally or not, and Orton is pissed. Then Orton does a move to Kennedy which injures his hand, and this is Kennedy's fault somehow?

GD 05-30-2009 07:33 AM

Very mature Randy. You could have handled things differently.

Theo Dious 05-30-2009 08:35 AM

I really can't see what was so terrible about that RKO.

Ruien 05-30-2009 10:09 AM

He touched Kennedy, when you do that you injury the guy.

Stickman 05-30-2009 02:52 PM

He looked pissed off, then remembered to sell it, then got pissed off again. Notice how quickly he got out of the ring.

How can it be his fault? orton does not control anyones hands with an RKO

Mooияakeя™ 05-30-2009 05:14 PM

Orton. He's so hot right now.

Mr. JL 05-30-2009 05:20 PM

Woud have been funny if Orton just got up and punted Kennedy for real after that.

Pretty careless on Kennedy's part, but then why would you put a guy with 10 months of ring rust in the same ring with your Champion?

DarKCentaur 05-30-2009 05:24 PM

I hope when Kennedy goes to TNA, they accidentally turn him into the next Austin (because we all know it won't happen by design)

Beauser 05-30-2009 05:41 PM

Yeah, Randy Orton definately grabbed ahold of Kennedy, a lot more so than he should have.

No, he doesn't control the hands, but its hard to control your body when you have 250+ yanking your neck and body down. Especially when you're just expecting it to be half assed.

Nark Order 05-30-2009 06:34 PM

Everybody else seems to deal with it fine and do not injured their wrists.

Dorkchop 05-30-2009 07:31 PM

When guys are stiffed then tend to stiff them back. it's just how it usually is.

Mooияakeя™ 05-30-2009 08:50 PM

lol u know, just out of randomness here, but the way he bangs around, throws a punch and leans up on his arms etc. doesn't look like it's that injured, more that his lower back got stung.

Hanso Amore 05-30-2009 08:51 PM

I dont see what the big deal is, looked pretty normal to me

Dorkchop 05-30-2009 08:58 PM

Randy looks like he was dropped on his shoulders and beck rather than his back.

Mr. Nerfect 06-01-2009 02:53 AM

Yeah, that doesn't look like proper selling, haha.

Innovator 06-01-2009 11:31 AM

I'd be pissed too if someone dropped me on my twice broken collarbone
