Dave Hebner

Savio 06-01-2009 04:09 PM

Earl Hebner....I loved when king was saying everyone was "Hebnerized"

Inadequacy 06-01-2009 04:15 PM

I remember a match between Torrie Wilson and Sable. During the match there was a spot where they started rolling around on the ground and somehow the referee was sucked into it. After everyone got up he started rubbing himself.

Whoever that referee was is my favourite.

EDIT- It may have been Nick Patrick

XL 06-01-2009 04:30 PM

I fucking hate Hebner! And it's nothing to do with the Screwjob either.

I caught on to the style of his close fall count, so every time I'd see him "over rotate" the shoulder I knew there'd be a kickout. Kinda ruined things.

My vote would probably go to Tim White or Charles Robinson.

Nicky Fives 06-01-2009 04:33 PM

I hate Hebner too.... he always botched spots when there was a ref bump, and he was way too choreographed for his count.... sometimes you can tell that he isn't even looking at the shoulders during a pinfall that isn't scheduled to be the finish.... my fave has got to be TIm White.... the bump he took in HIAC was crazy..... Chioda is pretty good too.... same for heel Nick Patrick & "Little Naitch" Charles Robinson

Sovereigntywillpr 06-01-2009 04:34 PM

Whichever Hebner didn't screw Bret.

And I hated that WCW Ref, I think it might actually be a young mickey jay, actually i take that back, he had a dark haired mullet and was such a mark-out. he acted like a handicapped mark on crack that was so overzealous jumping across the ring for a pinfall, what a jackass.

Savio 06-01-2009 04:58 PM

yeah Tim White was awesome too.

Fabien Barthez 06-01-2009 04:58 PM

The answer to this question, is 'The Fighting Irishman' Tim White.

parkmania 06-01-2009 05:24 PM

Think you're talking about the late Mark Curtis (Brian Hildebrand)

Executioner 06-01-2009 11:33 PM

Tommy Young from the NWA in the 80s....best ref ever!

Ol Dirty Dastard 06-01-2009 11:47 PM

Jimmy Korderas.

Theo Dious 06-01-2009 11:47 PM

Mr White, I don't think that's wise!

Theo Dious 06-01-2009 11:47 PM

Definitely Earl though.

Savio 07-10-2009 11:09 PM

Jacklyn!

AJHayes 07-11-2009 01:48 AM

Herbner is a cunt.

Montreal: Never forgive, never forget.

I would have to say that my favorite is Tim White, Charles Robinson, or John Finnegan. The only one that I remember from my childhood is Danny Davis (during the blue shirt days).

Tim White

Supreme Olajuwon 07-11-2009 02:32 AM

Mike Chioda for sure.

The Show Off 07-11-2009 02:34 AM

I liked John Finnigan from ECW, always seemed good to me.

Watching Bill Alphonso from back in the early 90's in the WWF is funny when seeing as fully transitioned to a manager.

St. Jimmy 07-11-2009 02:35 AM

HEBNERMANIA' BROTHER.

I thought the same thing about Theodore R. Long when he went from ref to manager to SD! GM.

James Steele 07-11-2009 05:53 AM

I do buy all my shirts from Earl Hebner. He has some awesome deals! :y:

DAMN iNATOR 07-11-2009 05:56 AM

Way to be behind the 8-ball Steele. I've been doing that for years!:D

Fox 07-11-2009 06:08 AM

Little Nature Boy Charles Robinson is definitely my favorite "Third Man in the Ring" (rep to anyone who gets that reference. It's pretty old school.)

Yeah. I know he's from Charlotte, N.C. and was trained by none other than Ric Flair...don't know what other "reference" there could be hidden there, quite frankly.
