Is there a way to import .wmv files?

no there is not. www.vcdhelp.com to see how to convert a .wmv file to another format. Just some advice my friend. I've used PRemiere for about 3 years and if you want to edit in it, i suggest that you edit .avi files in premiere since they are the best type of file formats to use!
