Michael Cole and Lillian being future endeavored?

-- It was very noticeable to those within the company that Vince McMahon put a serious muzzle on Michael Cole during RAW on Monday. There were periods of time where Cole barely got a full sentence in for periods of almost five minutes at a time. This was a call made by Vince McMahon, who is not a big fan of Cole’s. The feeling within the company is that Cole’s performance has been suffering so much because he’s gun shy that Vince will chew him out and embarrass him over doing little things. Vince was yelling in the headset during the opening segment of RAW for Lawler to do all of the speaking when Batista was getting beat down, and wanted them to call him Dave as opposed to Batista.

It would appear that World Wrestling Entertainment is looking to replace Lilian Garcia as the ring announcer of Monday Night Raw. The following was issued to talent agencies today:

WWE Announcer/Singer / Female / All Ethnicities / 20 - 30

Description: WWE is looking for a young, attractive female to sing the national anthem and be our regular ring announcer every week, for one of our most popular TV shows (WWE is estimated to be seen in 500,000,000 households in 150 countries/30 languages)...

This is a breakout job for any young singer. Please specify on submissions if anyone has appeared on American Idol, making the Band or any show of this comparison.

I do not believe Cole is going anywhere. Lilian, not sure about. She might stay she might not.

I wouldn't say that WWE has helped Lillian's singing career all that much.

Singing the National Anthem is the one thing Lillian can do well. The new person would be able to sing, but would still need a lot of breaking in on actual announcing. Plus Lillian is about as over as you can be for a ring announcer (pretty sure the general audience doesn't mind the gaffes).

Aww and I thought Michael was just terrible.

Why does RAW have to have a female ring announcer?

Personally, these moves would interest me more than upset me. I like Michael Cole more than most, but there are just better play-by-play guys out there now. Both Todd Grisham and Josh Mathews are doing better work than Cole right now.

Lilian Garcia is sort of hot, but she's a horrible ring announcer. I'd rather see The Fink return to his announcing duties, but whatever.

Maybe they'll hire Kennedy as a ring announcer
