So, I was a bad Jaton and quit watching, again. For like at least a year and a half. My gf just surprised me with ringside seats to SD/ECW tonight, and I'd like to at least have some idea what's going on.

Catch me up, tpdub. I might even make a TPWW sign.

Wrestling has turned into heroin for us. We know it's bad before we do it, but when we're doing it we get happy. After we crash we just sit in the corner, in the fetal position, wondering if there is a God and if there is why does he hate us so much.

Btw Jaton- smackdown is the best show to go to btw. You'll see what I mean when you experience it. Can't be arsed with detailsof whats happened,just read through the wrestling forum. Plenty of smackdown threads.

Okay, let me ask more specifically.

What are the big feuds?
Who are the champions?

WHC: CMPunk(cashed in money in the bank at the last ppv after jeff hardy became champion v Edge in a ladder match)

IC Champ: Jericho,won it for record 9th time, feuding with mysterio and recently unmasked him.

Tag champs: Carlito/guy i can't remember the name of, but will lose to the legacy(cody rhodes/ted dibiase) soon.

WWE champ:Randy orton(still feuding with HHH)

US Champ: kofi (beat MVP for it recently)

ECW Champ: Dreamer

A lot of people are excited about the new Hart Foundation/the Hart Dynasty on ECW, although it seems to mostly be smarks at the moment. Their performances have been solid though and it's a matter of time before they grow.

Tommy Dreamer is ECW champion again, winning the title on his last night with the company. He's presumably signed a new contract and is going to start feuding his Christian, with whom he shares one of those lame 'respect each other' relationships with them both being face.

Evan Bourne/Matt Sydal is back from injury and should be at ECW, I've heard against Mark Henry. He's done pretty well for himself in WWE and established himself as a firm fan-favourite. He'll be due a title shot in due course.

Smackdown is pretty good at the moment too. CM Punk is the shock new champion and will be facing Jeff Hardy, who he 'robbed' of the championship (using his MITB stipulation) at the last PPV.

In terms of timing, your ECW/Smackdown tickets are rather really good.

David Hart Smith, son of the British Bulldog and some guy you won't have heard of, managed by Nattie Neidhart, daughter of Jim Neidhart. She is hot.

I was pretty impressed with the show tonight, had really good seats and such.

It amazes me how many marks are still around though--I thought they died out.

What happened on SmackDown!, Jaton? It'd be interesting to hear it from the perspective of someone that hasn't watched for a while.

Oh, and Jack Swagger (?) lost to someone..I can't remember who it was, but I think I like him, and his lisp.

ECW really has a lot going for it, especially considering Tommy Dreamer is actually ECW champion for once. I honestly thought I'd never get the chance to see it happen when he announced his 5-month timeline, but I am so glad it finally happened.

Over on SmackDown!, Jericho is in his unprecedented 9th title run with the IC championship and C.M. Punk is World Heavyweight Champion, and due to the events of Monday night, will defend the WHC against Jeff Hardy at the Bash.

Oh, also, in the near future, ECW may be home to the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions if The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith) knock off The Colóns (Carlito and Primo) for them at the Bash.

Hey, the last thing I expected to see in this thread was Smackdown spoilers. Will somebody edit the thread title?
