Gonna be hard to beat the Dragon.

thedamndest 06-17-2009 05:17 PM

Goldust in his glory days had a great run, but even that could not compete with Ultimo.

Zen v.W.o. 06-17-2009 05:29 PM

Well fuck, if Ultimo gets by Pillman he has to beat Goldust, ffs.

Dorkchop 06-17-2009 05:40 PM

Goldust is a great character. Ultimo is an amazing wrestler. I've always preferred wrestlers over characters.

Nark Order 06-17-2009 05:59 PM

God, I don't want to vote against Goldust. Nobody else could've pulled off that character and he's one of my favorite wrestling personalities ever. If we're going for the better overall wrestler and who made a bigger impact though, I gotta vote Ultimo. This sucks.

Hornicane 06-17-2009 06:23 PM

Goldust needs a vote. :-\

Xero 06-17-2009 06:24 PM

450 would have done that, Horni.

The Gold Standard 06-17-2009 06:31 PM

Goldust was nothing more than a gimmick imo. Ultimo Dragon was the man. Haven't seen him in a while, but he is still probably just as good.

HTrain90 06-17-2009 06:34 PM

Goldust never fell down during his entrance.

Nicky Fives 06-17-2009 06:34 PM

I sense a Blow-out in the future... Dragon for the win..... how can you not vote for him when he has a move named after him??

Hornicane 06-17-2009 06:37 PM

But hasn't.

Lock Jaw 06-17-2009 07:36 PM

Wow, didn't expect Ultimo to beat Pillman. I did vote for him there, and I will again.

Arashi Kage 06-17-2009 08:45 PM

From an entertainment standpoint, I have more memorable Goldust moments.

I always loved this Warrior-Goldust moment, classic Goldust mindgames I remember taping it off tv back in '96.

Side note: I miss Vince being an announcer/interviewer, he was great at it.

Gotta love Goldust in the Hollywood Backlot Brawl vs The Hot Rod, I remember trying to watch it all scrambled live on PPV, "it was real to me dammit!!"

Theo Dious 06-17-2009 09:03 PM

Let me repeat this: I do not now, nor have I ever, nor will I ever, give a shit, fuck, damn, stain, flying fuck, flying horseshit, rats ass, or any other anything about Ultimo Dragon.

Zeeboe 06-17-2009 09:40 PM

I'm voting for Goldust because I am a fan, and I'm mad Pillman lost, so even though Goldust is way behind as of right now, I don't care, I am still voting for the curtain call.

Arashi Kage - Wow! I have not seen that since I was 13. I remember watching that too. I've been wanting to watch that again for ages now, and am glad I finally did. It was great seeing Goldust back in his prime, and watching two very odd characters interact. Kinda funny hearing the Warrior call Goldust a "freak". lol. Total pot calling the kettle black there moment. Only Goldust could get the Warrior to come across as sane. Anyhow, thank you for posting that clip. :y:

personal vendetta much? lol

Rollermacka 06-17-2009 11:32 PM

I gotta go with the Golden one, even though he's probibly not gonna win.

Nowhere Man 06-17-2009 11:56 PM

Goldust had a way more interesting character back in the day, but when it comes to ability, the Dragon takes this one easily.

LOL, I changed my mind. I have to vote Dust after all this.

muffalufagus 06-18-2009 05:28 AM

I voted for Goldust. God he was amazing.

USAUSA1 06-18-2009 07:35 AM

Dustin is one of the few guys I know that can wrestle both southern style and WWE style, the other guys eventually became world champion at some point. This is harder than the Pillman/Dragon debate for me but I still give the edge to Dragon.

Nark Order 06-18-2009 12:29 PM

Ok, I know I've been posting alot of ridiculous Goldust videos but I gotta post one more. I forgot all about this.

Rammsteinmad 06-19-2009 12:30 PM

Goldust.

No doubt in the ring Ultimo Dragon wins here, but overall I've always been more entertained by Goldust.

pancakes 06-20-2009 10:51 AM

Goldust is/was a great character, he pushed the limits of bromance and creepy goth man-lust. Can you compare his shock tactics to the sheer ability of Ultimo Dragon? The gold gimmick versus a gimmick of greatness? Is tawdry innuendo more impressive than titles? I prefer the international genius to the gold painted penis.

The Pope 06-20-2009 11:33 PM

Rammsteinmad
"Du Hast"
I just noticed your name

Goldust Is the best gimmick in wrestling history after Undertaker's
