What is the worst game you've played?
I've been waiting for mlb2k series to come around. I didn't think 2k8 was that bad and I saw 2k9 was on sale and decided to buy it. WHAT A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT!
-A player will hit a fly ball and you'll position your outfielder at the right spot and the fucking ball drops right behind your outfielder because he didn't put his glove up. Of course this happens in a tight game or if you're pitching a shutout. A routine fly ball becomes and fucking triple. -For some reason the year 2008 shows up at 216. So like it'll say "Derek Jeter was an all-star in 216", and the year 2009 shows up as 217 and so on. -Every one of your players are always on a hitting streak, regardless if you get a hit. So like if Vernon Wells has played 31 games, it'll say Vernon Wells is on a 31 game hitting streak. -The fielding is god awful. Unless you hold down the left trigger and the base you want to throw to, the runner will beat out an infield single every time. The stats are always completely fucked up as well. Fuck I hate this damn game |

Call of Duty 5, this game totally sucked. Crap graphics, same idea for levels from the first game (Russians stopping the Nazi invasion of the USSR and then attacking the Reichstag), boring gameplay etc. That fuck Infinity Ward have their mitts on COD this year.

I played this game for a bit and didnt see a single issue you mention.
|
I gotta go with this 'fighting game' for SNES. Something about a cyborg or something. The Vs. Mode forced player 1 to play as one character. To it's credit it had FMV which was pretty shocking for such a crap game. Games that completely miss the point receives much ire from me.

Superman 64
|
I hated 2k9 so much that I went out and bought a ps3 specifically to play the show. best purchase ever.

Two Worlds

Dash Galaxy

NHL 2K6

Advanced Lawnmower Simulator for the C64

I actually had the sequel to Rise of the Robots, for the Sega Saturn (why I had a Saturn instead of a PS-1, I'll never know). You had more characters to choose from, but they were all crap aside from one game-breaker guy who could get an instant win just by spamming his same one cheap rushing attack.
|
You had the Saturn because you had taste motherfucker.
Yeah, Rise 2 wasn't that bad, but I had Rise 1 on an Amiga A600. Think of all the terrible you've just described, but add swapping 6 different floppy discs between every match... |
Perfect Weapon for PS1.

X-men vs Spiderman: Arcade's Revenge.
This game was disgustingly hard. I got it when I was about 9 years old and back then my friends and I were obsessed with the X-men and Spiderman. We would play every weekend for at least 2 hours and try to beat it but the game was just so brutally hard and the game design was so poor that we all started hating it. |
I hated how Gambit tossed his cards.

Zero Divide 2

Dungeon Siege

Great title music though.
|
WCW Thunder was pretty awful also.
|
Oh Hell yeah.
|
I remember getting that at a Blockbuster for like 5 bucks and being so pissed.
The "commentary"(if it can be called that) was beyond annoying. "POWER BOMB!" "PILE DRIVER!" "VERTICAL SUPLEX!" |
WCW Backstage Assault, why the hell I got this game I will never know.
|
|
Know what the back of the box bullet-points would read if the game came out now?
|
I would probably have to go with Mortal Kombat Advance, sure it may look good for a Game Boy Advance game, but the gameplay is totally messed up, and the difficulty is extremely hard even on very easy. It is a real piece of shit.

Home Alone 2
|
Seriously this is for real. When I was young and didn't know better we had a Atari 2600 and my folks got E.T. I now realize how dumb that game was.

Another mention is WCW backstage assult, pretty much any WCW game other than WCW vs. NWO revenge. |
Pong :shifty:
|
Spider Solitare.
|
WCW vs The World looked like shit, but did feature the engine which went on to become WCW/nWo Revenge and eventually WWF No Mercy 64, so it wasn't all bad.
|
Worst game I ever played? That's a tough one.
There was a McDonald's (yes, the restaurant!) game on the SNES which sucked. The Jurrasic Park game was quite bad on the SNES. WWF In Your House looked quite good for its time, but the gameplay was bafflingly bad. Superman on the N64? Zool sucked. So bad. The Bruce Lee game and one of The Simpsons games I played were quite rough. Rise of the Robots was definitely a waste of moolah. My mate had some kind of Star Trek Academy game. Turd. As for overrated games, I never understood the huge appeal of Goldeneye. I loved the Donkey Kong Country games, but the third one was just too childish for me. All the moody atmospheric levels and music of the first two made way for a kid friendly, colouful cartoon-like game. |
Would it be fair to go back as far as the Commodore 64?
I could never get past the first fucking level of Ghostbusters 2, and Batman for the C64 was awful. Fini. |
Which Batman?
Batman the movie was pretty good, until I got the Amiga version that had a Mode 7 driving sequence If you're talking about this one though: http://static.gamesradar.com/images/...icle_image.jpg Yeah, you're right |
