Diego Sanchez is the man.

What an insane fight. I had Clay as the victor until the onslaught of elbows by Diego from the ground.

What I loved about Clay is how he was never phased by anything. He'd look like he should be so hurt, but at the end of the round he'd almost start doing jumping jacks. I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. Even other guys with freakish conditioning dont react like that when they're in a total war, where their faces are getting caved in. I mean they're usually breathing deep trying to keep calm. Guida just wanted to fight more, right there and then.

That was fucking insane

Sanchez's stand up was fucking immense at the start. He has Guida rocked badly until Guida realised standing and trading wasn't a good idea. I had it scored a draw but I could have seen a case for 29-28 for either guy. That first round was 10-8 to Sanchez for me though.

Fight of the year so far.

Amazing fight.... couldnt have worked out better though... guida can build off of this very narrow loss and sanchez is now in the thick of things with the best of the lightweight division.
