So, is this possible?
Kennedy comes back with a ton of fanfare, making his return during a segment with the WWE Champion Randy Orton, and getting a spot in the main event as well. A few things go wrong in the match and a few days later, Kennedy is fired.
Now, rumors have come about saying that Triple H was involved in getting Kennedy fired from the WWE. Assuming that is the case, is it possible that there was a storyline going into motion that would see Kennedy challenging Orton for the WWE Title in the following months? And then seeing this, Triple H takes his opportunity and gets Kennedy fired. Currently, Triple H is challenging Orton for the WWE Title again in the feud that seems to never end. Is it possible it was just another power play by The Game to get himself back into the WWE Title picture when Vince and company have stated that they're going to focus on pushing younger, newer characters into the upper echelon? |

omg that shirt  Eats the Cena and Blackman ones alive
And to answer the main question, nah. Trips is pretty comfortable in his position, I'd be very suprised if he saw Kennedy as any kind of threat. He knows he's always gonna be sniffing around the title as long as he's on TV |
It might seem believable if it weren't so unnecessary. Seems liek a ridiculously contrived conspiracy theory, since Trips doesn't need to get anyone fired or "take advantage" of any opportunity at this point. In fact, IF you believe the internet news, it would seem like Trips wanted time off, so it would play the other way. I mean, both bits were being reported by the same sources, so it would seem fair that if one was to buy one, they would buy the other.

He was speaking of Kennedy's return.

You know, the one that already happened.

Just for the record.

Unpossible. This is a kindler/gentler HHH. He's loves everybody.

I highly doubt that Kennedy would even be remotely considered for a main event push
|
Except for, you know, he was sort of being groomed for it given the way he made his return.

Seems like if Triple H wanted Kennedy out of the picture, all they'd have to do is put Kennedy back on Smackdown.
That is if they were actually as high on him as some here believe. |
OH NOES! EVIL TRIPLE H GOT MR. INJURY HURT.

No.

Of course, there's some room for doubt, simply because WWE logic does not resemble our mortal logic, but... |
I side with Steele (gasp) and KK
The theory seems way contrived |
