Battle of the Themes #1: Triple H
 

I'm planning on taking quite a few of these and then putting them into a tournament (if there's enough interest).

A few notes:

- Stable and tag team themes will not count towards a single wrestler's theme count. Some will get an automatic pass into the tournament while others will have their own vote.

- I will not be listing every little change to a theme (so there won't be 15 versions of the same theme in one poll).

- If a theme is already in and it's used for someone else it will not be listed again.

- Most lesser-known/rarely used themes will not make it in. Some will.

My Time, no contest

My Time, because it was his theme was he was actually worth something.

My Time was great... but Ode To Joy was pretty good as well....

I know I'm in the minority here, but I like King of Kings.

Lemmy growling "On your knees, dog" at the beginning is just too badass.

King of Kings, partially because it hasn't been played to death like the others, but mainly because it is just an awesome song.

My time is the better track to me. Didnt the band do DX,No chance, and Y2J's Themes as well?

I went with My Time as well....I actually prefer the version with no lyrics (Higher Brain Pattern) from WrestleMania 2000 on the N64, but I don't think he used that one very long...so My Time it is. ;)

Also went with My Time, brings back memories of a great era.

When I think of the song I think of HHH entrance at the 2000 Royal Rumble, madison square garden, facing Cactus Jack for the title a match that made him a legitimate main-eventer, the music playing in the back ground as he spits in water into the air, on the ring apron, fucking awesome. Those were the days. Same goes for backlash 2000, goose bumps when I watch that these days.

I also went with King of Kings. Great song on it's own, and I love how they only bust it out occasionally. Pretty much the only time I mark for HHH coming out is when they use it.

I would have to go with My Time. I love the King of Kings but My Time takes it for me. Great theme for a great era. One that I also liked was the mix between My Time/The Game that they played for his last return in the promos. I had to look it up just to hear it again, but that was the only time that you heard that version only in the promos.

Torn between 'My Time' and 'King of Kings'.

'My Time' represents a period that was probably our most favourite time for wrestling, hence would be my sentimental vote.

One of the best themes of all time imo.

a) I wish I'd seen this in time to vote.
b) I do not understand the collective hardon for My Time. Especially the one with words.

I personally prefer My Time because it reminds of when Triple H wasn't Triple Boring.
