Chavo Classic 07-04-2009 03:02 PM

He was one of the greatest legenstars in the business

Nicky Fives 07-04-2009 03:23 PM

also one of the crappiest workers to get pushed to the moon.... sorry to be a hater.... never was a fan (even as a kid during the whole 'Lex Express Tour', never will be.....

FourFifty 07-04-2009 03:45 PM

Xero, I love you and all, but.... Fuck Lex Luger.
I would rather watch an hour of John Cena than 15 mins of Luger.

FourFifty 07-04-2009 03:46 PM

Okay, I was a fan of Lex in WWE. I loved the Lex Express. I jumped on that bandwagon faster than anyone else. If he would have stayed as a mid carder I'd say he's okay, but he can't lace up Hogan's boots, and I think tpww has a mutal stance on Hogan.

FourFifty 07-04-2009 03:47 PM

But I do like this song.

thedamndest 07-04-2009 03:49 PM

Is that Lex singing? He sounds like Bruce Springsteen's brother.

DaveWadding 07-04-2009 07:44 PM

I'LL BE YOUR HEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

DaveWadding 07-04-2009 07:44 PM

HEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

James Steele 07-04-2009 07:49 PM

He is one of the greatest stars of the 90s, according to WWE's DVD release "Greatest Stars of the 90s".

ministrychick77 07-04-2009 10:10 PM

well... no news of luger's death..

xero, your death skills have failed.. sorry...

Xero 07-04-2009 10:14 PM

DAMMIT!

Droford 07-04-2009 10:20 PM

Luger was horrid in the roundtable discussion on the Wrestler DVD.

My Final Heaven 07-04-2009 10:42 PM

I want to see WWE put some random worker from the current roster on his own bus, and just ship him across the country.

THE ZIGGLER EXPRESS IS COMIN' YOUR WAY!

WATCH OUT FOR EVAN BOURNE WHEN HE FLIES INTO YOUR TOWN!

PUNJABI PITSTOP TOUR

My Final Heaven 07-04-2009 10:45 PM

Goddamn it, now I can't stop thinking about a Greyhound with Khali's face painted on the side. :'(

Mjdiesel 07-05-2009 03:06 PM

Ok, you all realize he's partially responsible for Miss Elizabeth's death right?

CSL 07-05-2009 03:12 PM

I would definitely go to the Punjabi Pitstop Tour

She was a grown woman that like drugs. She died from it,sadly. Not Lex fault,Lex didn't force her. Lex life change since then for the better.

Lex Luger was a very good worker until 98 when he got lazy because he realize he don't have to go all out to make a lot of money(everybody else was doing it). Lex Luger had charisma and a connection with the crowd that a lot of wrestlers wish they had. CM Punk is not even on Lex level yet.

How can you call him a bad worker? He work the crowd better than most.

CSL 07-05-2009 03:33 PM

Lex Luger was never 'a very good worker'

Is Luger still paralysed or is he walking about again? Haven't heard any updates in a long time.

ministrychick77 07-07-2009 03:27 PM

well technically this was done in the (semi) hopes we'd find out luger killed himself..

read xero's last "i miss..." thread.

how luger's still alive and some of the better wrestlers are dead.. i just dont know..

GD 07-07-2009 03:35 PM

He was an amazing specimen.

abec 07-07-2009 03:51 PM

Liked him better as narcissist.

DaBrasko 07-07-2009 04:23 PM

I recall marking out when he beat Hogan for the title on Nitro. I recall the massive pop from the crowd when it happened too.

True, but the stories of Hogan's politics are well known. The NWO was gaining alot of heat from the crowd that were still "loyal" to WCW. Alot of people just wanted to see the belt taken off Hogan after he held it for over a year...even though Hogan would win it back 6 days later. Notice that Hogan jobs to Luger on Nitro, but has Luger job on a PPV (Road Wild 1997). Im not saying Luger was a great worker, but he had his moments against Flair in 1988 and Sting in 1991-1992. After he left the WWF in 1995...it was all downhill.

Loose Cannon 07-07-2009 10:58 PM

Great song. The video on Summerslam 93 with this song is immense.

Because he's the biggest legendstar...

I guess he's been pretty damn lucky considering everything his body has gone through with drugs and the spinal injury/paralysis.

I think he was roid free when he debuted in the WWF. I don't know how long he was off them though.
