Hypothetical Question regarding World Champions

Let's say it's right after WM III.... WWF's popularity is sky high, and the powers that be decide to make the decision they made in 2003 (I think...) by having two brands and two world championships. (I know this could never have worked in the era, but run with it...)

In this alternate reality, which wrestlers that never won world titles do you think would have won world titles throughout the years till the current split?

My first thoughts are the obvious ones - Dibiase, Owen Hart, Piper, Santana, Vader, Razor Ramon.

Also, I'm assuming Savage would have had a few more reigns...which would have been awesome.

Good call. Thought of him earlier and forgot to add him.

I also considered Jake Roberts, but not sure if he'd have gotten there due to the personal issues.

This was definitely my number one also. Looking back, I still can't believe the guy didn't have a recognized title reign while being the top heel for at least two years.

Anybody that was I.C champion in the late 80's-mid 1992 would have probably been a lock for World Champion (hypothetically). Perhaps Luger as well, and Undertaker would have had a few more reigns considering the amount of monsters he had to try and make look good over the early years of his career. I personally don't agree with any of the suggestions made in the first post of this topic (except for Dibiase around the time of WM4).

Also hypothetically I could have seen Bret Hart maybe have a 2 year world title reign between WM10-WM12 and Diesel being the alternative champion for most of this period (Bret would drop the title to HBK at WM12 and Diesel dropping to Taker or Warrior around WM12 or IYH 7)

Texas Tornado would have, he was fairly over at one stage. I believe Earthquake would have also.

Way too many words for a simple "Who could have been champion" question...

Vader could have held the WWE championship no problem, along with The American Dream. Aside from that, anyone who got withing pissing distance of Hogan could have held it.

RICK RUDE was definately on the level with his fueds with the warrior

also bam bam bigelow, he was used to poorly, they should have pushed him as a monster heel against hogan, it would def. have worked...
so, the beast from the east and the ravishing one, are two overlooked stars that never got the shine they deserved....

I remember him being the U.S. champ. Him as heavyweight champ doesn't ring a bell.
