pointlessly elaborate ground up moves
 
anyone else notice how many pointlessly elaborate ground up moves there are in the wwe at the moment, i mean moves like the people's elbow or the worm

mvp has one
kofi kingston has one

as do many others

it makes me facepalm everytime i see one, its just so the kids can emulate the gestures maybe it sells more t-shirts i dont know, but still it annoys the hell out of me.

As long as the crowd pops and join in with 'Ballinnnnn' or whatever, they aren't pointless

yeah but my point is that all these young wrestlers are trying to emulate the pop of the crowd that the stars you mentioned executed their moves and its just pointless

i dont mind the theatrics, it just seems that everyone has a dancing ground up move latley.


and Olympic wrestling sucks, they dont have hardcore matches or anything

The only flash move that springs to mind as annoying is MVP's. And not even because of the inexplicable "Ballin'" cry. But because when someone's laying on the ground, he completely stops moving, looks at the entire arena, and then has to bounce of the rope for momentum...only to stop himself short, anyway. Just seems excessively wasteful of time.
