I'm torn here. Perfect dark was incredible but on the other hand I have so many fond memories of golden eye. Crazy 4 player matches with friends were so much fun. Gotta go with golden eye.

Perfect Dark. No game that I know of has done Counter-Op as a mode since the game was released.
The multiplayer alone could stand alone as a game since its full of depth and stuff. |

Goldeneye was much better on single player. It was also so much frigen fun on multiplayer. Perfect Dark was friggen awesome on multiplayer, just alright on single player. Me and my friends had so much fun playing multiplayer on both games, and me and a friend actually still play Perfect Dark on XBOX multiplayer couple times a week. What was killer about Perfect Dark was that you could add CPU's and go against them....so much fun.
Voted for Goldeneye though. Awesome multiplayer with great repetitive single player, so yeah... |
Damnit Savior! You just had to put these two up against each other.
It was a hard decision, mostly because I love both games, but I went with GoldenEye. But only JUST. I thought about it and GoldenEye just kicks ass in both Single and Multiplayer Mode. But also, the cheats you could use during the game made the game more fun. But I was thinking about voting for Perfect Dark, because the Counter-Op Mode was a good idea, but when you played it as the enemy, it was a bit pointless and sometimes frustrating. Mostly because whoever was Joanna knew where you were and could be ready for you to attack. (Mostly because you were shairing the same TV as whoever was playing as Joanna.) And also, because it just takes one or two bullets to kill whoever was playing as the enemy so you didn't really stand a chance against Joanna. And also, Single Player wasn't that great in Perfect Dark. It was good, but not as good as GoldenEye's. |
I never much liked the Perfect Dark story. I felt like it was just there as a requirement. The multiplayer was superior probably just because of the bots, but I preferred the weapons and levels of Goldeneye. So 007.

Perfect Dark was the better game, technically, IMO, but I have a greater number of awesome memories due to Goldeneye. Can't go wrong either way, really. My vote goes to Goldeneye.

I voted Perfect Dark. It surpassed Goldeneye in every way. Goldeneye is a single, plain slice of bread while Perfect Dark is a large mouthwatering sandwhich and a glass of fruit juice.

Goldeneye. Never could get into Perfect Dark.

I would have to say Goldeneye. It had the better single player campaign and since I only had friends over on the weekends it was all I had.
I will say that Perfect Dark had the better multiplayer |
