Return of the King may have won 11 Academy Awards, but the members of TPWW resoundingly told Peter Jackson to take his Oscars and stick them up his hobbit-loving butthole. Empire Strikes Back pulls off the win with the largest margin of victory in Better Movie history. That's two rounds and two victories over Academy Best Picture winners.

Our next film didn't win any Academy Awards, but it does have a machine gun. Ho ho ho.

Ah man that was a tough one. I voted Empire Strikes Back, simply because I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I was tempted to vote for Die Hard, but guess I just couldn't bring myself to vote against SW. Both AMAZING films.

Die Hard is all you need to know about action movies.

I love SW but the DH series, esp the first film, is one of my tops, I love it, saw it when I was like 11 and I loved it; the characters, the story, the lines, the acting, the cast, the soundtrack and its one of the best action films ever in my opinion.

I am a huge Star Wars nerd and I don't really like action movies.

I voted for Star Wars last time by default, but in reality I'm not a *huge* Star Wars fan. Anywho, Die Hard gets my vote.

I think I have already explained why I'm voting the way I am. I'm voting for the better movie and not which of the main characters would win in a fight.

Die Hard is great though, but no contest.

Correct, but it's the same concept. Regular guy, no powers or anything, getting through improbable situations on nothing but skill and luck. I never claimed Solo was more or less badass, just that he also would fit what you were saying.
