Saw Shai Hulud and Reign Supreme last night
An amazing night, as this was the first show I've been to in 2 years. A bunch of local bands played too and they were all pretty excellent.
Reign Supreme is from Philly, so therefore they are very pissed off. Most of the night I felt no urge to mosh at all but as soon as they started playing, the urge to punch faces increased. In one night they've become my favorite modern hardcore band. This didn't stop them from putting on an incredible performance. They started with "My heart bleeds the darkest blood" and from then I sang along with every word at the top of my lungs. It was just an amazing night and good to know that hardcore isn't dead yet. |

How could people leave before Shai Hulud.

Kids these days only like shit they can "mosh" to. I was kinda pissed but in a way it worked out cuz it was ridiculously hot in there. Also need to mention the carrier. Probably one of the most unique sounding hardcore bands in a long time.
