express were a good team but you ask anyone under 30 that likes wrestling and i bet you they couldnt tell you there names.outlaws could wrestle ,make people laugh and were in dx.maybe if express were around the same time as the outlaws it would be different but hey thats life.

Call me Old School...but I just cant vote against the Midnight Express. Superior tag team skills, highly credible World AND U.S. Tag Team Title reigns, some of the most memorable feuds in wrestling, and Jim Cornette....plus I still mark out to Bobby Eaton's high flying moves when I watch their matches.

NAO was good but not that good

So my vote goes to The Midnight Express

Not seen enough of Midnight Express to vote them over NAO (they were prob better but NAO gets my vote)

I think it depends on what version of the Midnight Express we're talking about.If its Eaton and Condry i would go with them but if its Eaton and Lane then I'm going with the outlaws

This is ridiculous. NAO shouldn't have beaten the Dudleyz and there's NO WAY they should beat the Midnight Express. FFS the NAO didn't even have a tag team finisher.

A little bit surprised they beat the Dudleys, won't be surprised if they beat Midnight Express because of the passing of time.

NAO were the most popular tag team during the time wrestling was at its peak.

No idea why there are so many haters on NAO. I imagine they will be getting 5 wins easy.

I gotta say New Age Outlaws on this coz I've only seen 2/3 Midnight Express matches.

not even close. Midnight Express is widely considered the greatest heel team of all-time

the only thing I considered thier finisher was that spike piledriver. I think they only did it as heels though

Hold up, The Rockers beating Rock N Roll Express is the biggest outrage.

I give it it to New Age Outlawz just because they were a bigger draw and made more money. People seem to forget that Midnight Express was never the top team in their promotion.

So when they became the first team in the N.W.A. history to hold BOTH the WORLD and U.S. Tag Team Titles simultaneously that doesn't make them the top team of the N.W.A. at the time? :foc:

Both teams were good in their respective times. But like mackem said if they fought today then NOA would beat the express simply b/c they are old as hell. it's like comparing Mike Tyson and Mohammed Ali, both were great in their own time but today Tyson would knock Ali's old ass out and then bite his ear off

Rock N Roll Express was still the top team in the company when Midnight were champions. Don't get it twisted. I'm a huge Midnight fan but judging from history I think NAO had a bigger impact. If we were judging on wrestling matches, then I would choose Midnight in a heartbeat.

Well, the Midnight Express attained both titles well after the Rock N Roll Express reached their peak. Dont get me wrong, the RNR were by far the top team until late 86 early 87 but very soon after that, they began a downward tread while the Midnight were still picking up steam and becoming the best. The last VHS i saw the RNR on was the Starrcade 87 tape when they beat the ME in the scaffold match. But I dont recall them on any 88 or 89 VHS releases.
