Mellowdrone (liked em) Ima Robot (REALLY liked them) The Ataris (who everyone knows are awesome...come on) Reuben's Accomplice (who we heard sucked, so we just chilled outside) and Cake (who didn't take the stage until midnight... we listened to their first song [Sheep Go To Heaven] and then bolted because we were burned out) |

Who Is playing at the Tribute? Just Foo Fighters? |
Don't be dense. It'll be bands covering Nirvana and the Foo Fighters...
|
OHHHH........Right!!
|
Okay, we didn't get rained out yesterday.
There were a lot of awesome bands that were there... Sugar Ray Pennywise (we stayed for a few songs, but we were exhausted) Twist and Shout (a Beatles cover band...they were great, surprisingly) Evolocity (a local band...we liked them and they were REALLY nice. They gave us a CD and autographed it, and a set list, autographed as well. www.evolocity.net) Clear Static (LA guys, they were awesome, hella nice too, the drummer threw my sis a drumstick, and we were talking to them after...) Stedman (Maybe some of the UKers have heard of them, as they're from London, I made the comparision that they had a very John Mayer sound, but British [good thing] and he might have been 1st out period, but Mayer was 1st here) Bands we didn't like: Denver Harbor (not our style) 2nd Shift (a shitty cover band...they butchered some great songs) There were more bands we didn't catch, but thats what we got out of it |
Wooo, I just found out that Mastodon are supporting Dillinger Escape Plan, it'll rule even more now.
