New TV, can't get my 360 to work.
I just bought the LCD26761HDF.
I've set it all up correctly, now I insert the HD cables, correctly. I go to the Y,pb,pr channel and the xbox isn't on. The connecter is set to HD. What am I doing wrong? |
Is your Xbox set to output through HD? Is there some way to "auto-assign" the video output?
On the PS3 there's a way to reset it so it will auto detect what cables are connected. |
Set it to non-HD first then go to the options menu and set up the output from there.
I think that's how it works :o |
Or, get an HDMI cable.

No way you got the LCD26761HDF??? Im so jealous

The later systems do ;)

Mine certainly does.
And it makes lovely sexy graphics appear on my TV. |
Yeah, it doesn't support 1080p so your 360 might be set to that. Flick the switch to TV (it will still work with component plugged in) then change the setting to 720p.
|
Does your TV have a Y:CR:CB channel? Because that's digital while PR:PB is analog. 360 should technically work for both.
My HDTV has several different "component" channels that are accessible from the TV controller. Try cycling through those to find the proper one. |
