Don't have a clue. I always thought Benoit was a certainty for the Hall of Fame (and I remember Tazz mentioning this when he got drafted to ECW) and we all know what happened there.

Yeah, I didn't say I was a Hardy mark and I want them in NOW. I just see the Hardyz making it to the HoF in maybe 20-25 years, dunno.

He probably would make it for his tag team work alone.

Even though I don't consider myself a big fan of his he should definetly be inducted into the HOF. I'd rather he'd be put in as part of the Hardy Boyz even though I've never really particularly liked Matt. He is probably one the most unorthidox wrestlers I have ever seen in the WWE.

Barring some fallout with Vince McMahon, I don't really see why not.

I think it will depend on how he leaves WWE/ends his career. I don't think Mick Foley will be in the WWE Hall of Fame until he pulls his head out of his ass in Orlando.

Yeah, but short of Benoit-ing himself, he's likely to get in. The Hardys and E&C led the tag team division through a large part of the Attitude Era.

They should have Lita induct them too. :shifty:

We will have a better idea about the future of the WWE Hall of Fame after the next few years. WWE is running out of "1st ballot HoFers" to induct.

Anyone who says no is crazy. He's been with the company something like 9 years and has been over the majority of the time, not to mention winning countless tag and singles titles, and selling a ton of merchandise.

Plus like someone already said, he could get in on Tag work alone, god knows lesser teams have been inducted.

Was wondering if that would get dragged into that, but it is a valid point, seeing as even if he is getting ready to quit the company soon, we all know he'd be pretty much ex-communicated from the WWE for his final strike against the Wellness Policy, if he were ever caught again, which would probably send his hopes of going into the HoF up in smoke (yes, pun intended...)

I voted Loose Cannon simply because my answer could not fit into any of the other ones.
I can't say yay, nay, or don't care. I do care, but if Jeff Hardy pulls a Chris Benoit (a man who I thought was going to go into the Hall of Fame) then he would have Benoit'ed himself.
Let's not even go that extreme.... Let's say Jeff Hardy pops on a drug test. Three strikes, he's out. The only HoF salvation he would have would be as a tag team.

However- If plays by the rules then there is no doubt in my mind that he could go into the Hall of Fame solo after he calls it quits.

Also, Hardy will be unless something previously mentioned were to happen.

I would say they arent too far from having Undertaker and HBK ready to go soon if they treat them like Flair last year. They also still have the Rock whenever that happens.

Then you have the people who would be in except for their circumstances (Owen, Benoit, Ultimate Warrior, Luger, Savage etc).

Then you have the people in TNA (Nash,Foley,Sting,Angle, etc) who would totally be "1st ballot" but I have no idea how they'll be handled, especially Sting. I can see the others signing a deal with Vince for the HOF but not Sting, which would be a pretty decent shame.

As far as Jeff Hardy goes, I dont think he gets in unless its with Matt as the Hardy Boyz as of now.

I would say yes, but not for a long time, and there are a LOT more people who should go in before he does.

He should definitely go in, but it will be more for the Hardy Boyz run than anything else. That's where he and, to a slightly lesser extent, Matt shined.

I'd love to see the Dudleyz, Edge and Christian and the Hardyz inducted at one HOF.

Well, Eddie was rather unceremoniously "inducted" into the WWE HoF "Class of 2006" after his death in November, 2005, going against the wishes of basically most of Eddie's immediate family, especially his widow, Vickie...I think if they waited until at least this year or next, they probably would have been showing a lot more respect to the family, rather than just throwing him in there with no regard to how his family felt about it.

However, I remember listening to an interview with Foley once and he pointed out how not only your career counts to be able to be inducted into the HOF. For example, Pete Rose is in but Bruno Samartino isn't.
