so this tna shake up is getting exciting!

TNA could be turning the corner with the recent restructuring as well as the rumours of Heyman being hired to book, Kennedy, Umaga, Tazz coming aboard. Getting West away from the announce table would be a step in the right direction. and to think this is,in part, thanks to Karen Angle's pussy.

thedamndest 08-02-2009 04:52 PM

I can feel a real change in TNA's luck!

Mr. Nerfect 08-02-2009 05:31 PM

Don't forget Brian Kendrick signing and Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Kevin Nash and Sting jumping to the WWE!

Nicky Fives 08-02-2009 06:45 PM

I would love to thank Karen Angle's pussy, for all that it has contributed to the advancement of TNA Wrestling.....lol.....

KYR 08-02-2009 08:32 PM

I honestly can't see how Kennedy, Umaga and Tazz will contribute any more favourably to the TNA product when the likes of Angle, Booker T and Christian failed to.

You can throw any mix of current/former WWE wrestlers into the TNA roster and absolutely nothing will change.

The roster is NOT the problem with TNA. And the sooner TNA accept that fact the sooner they can effect the necessary changes to improve the product.

It's also due, in part, to Double J's dick. And I ain't thanking that for one second.

Theo Dious 08-02-2009 09:35 PM

Also, a lot of the complaints about TNA have been tied to it's being the continuation of late WCW. So why is everybody jacking about Heyman booking? Maybe they should consider hiring someone with some NEW ideas? Hmm?

Nope, that's not a change in TNA's luck. Someone just busted ass in this thread.

The Pope 08-02-2009 10:28 PM

it's the writers and i think everyone knows that. Heyman would be great in tna. There would probably alot more x division and more hardcore stuff.

Fox 08-02-2009 11:35 PM

What's this about Paul Heyman? Source?

HeartBreakMan2k 08-02-2009 11:40 PM

They're not hiring Heyman. He wants more power than they're willing to give and Dixie is still pissed he made some quips about never working for TNA.

The MAC 08-03-2009 12:48 AM

people within TNA are bringing up Heymans name to Dixie...all she has to do is appease his ego a little.I think they need him as a consultant with a short contract giving him the power he wants and let him prove his worth.

Mr. JL 08-03-2009 01:39 AM

TNA definitely needs a shakeup.

Just what TNA needs, more garbage wrestling.

Mr. JL 08-03-2009 01:46 AM

Need to eliminate the clusterfucks.

Bring back Raven.

Build up a definite HERO to dismantle the Main Event Mafia.

The Pidget speaks wisdom.

Dave Youell 08-03-2009 03:00 AM

Bring back Raven....as the booker

Seriously

Mr. JL 08-03-2009 03:05 AM

Either one... I don't care.

TNA could use a little Raven... be it as a performer or the booker.

Impeccable 08-03-2009 04:53 AM

I think they're almost there. Seriously, I was watching the other day and I said to my wife, (who, incidentally, coudn't give a shit) that they're just missing one thing...a spark of some sort. It could be Kendrick, it could be Kennedy. it could be someone already there (Eric Young?)

For me, one of the biggest problems in TNA is they are trying to make it "too spontaneous". They start showing a video and cut away to Tenay and West saying "we've got to get backstage, there's something happening". The beatdowns and during the break segments are horrible.

When WCW and WWE were spontaneous, it was because they were actually being spontaneous and not scripting it to be spontaneous!

Oh, and a six sided ring...the sooner they get rid of that, the better.

kareru 08-03-2009 06:25 AM

also what was with that promo during impact about a wrestling revolution and a new type of wrestling

this could either be the greatest thing in wrestling history or a the biggest munson

The MAC 08-03-2009 06:25 AM

The power of Karen's clit has changed the face of wrestling.

NoRoolz 08-03-2009 06:33 AM

Six-Sided ring should be kept IMO. Whilst I personally don't particularly like it, it is their unique point (don't link me to a mexican federation who use the 6-sides) and makes them blatantly different to WWE. When I've watched TNA in front of people who haven't ever watched wrestling or used to watch wrestling, they see the six-sided ring as cool and innovative.

Dunno, just makes TNA TNA I guess.... *waits for 'That's not a good thing' comment*

I think they're trying too hard to be different with the six sided ring. They can be innovative without having a six sided ring.

The MAC 08-03-2009 07:14 AM

Random thoughts
-----------------

() Heyman books angles along with cornette (who will keep it somewhat grounded with old school tried and tested methods)

() Bring in Ric Flair to a short angle with sting (nostalgia)

() Push Sabin and shelly as major heels

() Taz as color commentator (obviously)

() Fire Don West

() Samoa Joe Vs Umaga program

() Angle does an every week challenge beating up jobbers until someone can stop him

() Matches must end definitively. Cut down the beatdown shit

() Change that god damn ring

() Kevin Nash Promo's for comedic effect. Back stage skits etc.

() Have kennedy come in and do heel commentary during his matches with jobbers. One hand on the mic while he kicks the shit out of a jobber or 2.

() Cut out these over the top gimmick matches.

() Have Vince Russo stop trying to re-hash the 90's

Never understood why the six sided ring is so hated, they can hardly just get rid of it or they'll be criticised for that to now. I don't like it or hate, its just not a big deal to me. TNA has bigger problems than how many sides their ring has.

thats why i think it will be jim cornett that takes over, keep it inside, lets see what he does.

Innovator 08-03-2009 10:41 AM

I'm a firm believer that if you lock Heyman and Cornette in a room, don't open it until they have 4 weeks of TV booked, you'd have something that'd be awesome

Vastardikai 08-03-2009 02:44 PM

or just tape the meeting for a reality show.

That or you'd be responsible for one of the greatest bookers killing another one of the greatest bookers considering they don't actually like each other from what I recall.

I wonder that Jim Cornette thinks about Paul Heyman...

well there are a few different outcomes of this that could be interesting

1) it will be the greatest month of TNA programming

2) they have angry sex and later use it as a storyline to hide their passion

3) They have a huge fight about who is the best booker when they are challenged by none other than------- Booker T.

Ol Dirty Dastard 08-04-2009 08:00 AM

I just don't understand how they can witness how bad their product is and still have Vince Russo under employment.

The thing about Paul Heyman is that his booking style is not limited like so many other guys. He looks at the talent, he sees what they can do (and what they can't do), and he works out ways to best capitalise on that. Heyman would use everyone from Kurt Angle to Shark Boy in better ways in TNA.

I can't see it happening, but it would be awesome if it did happen. Especially if Heyman got to do color commentary at the same time. Mike Tenay and Paul Heyman would be awesome together, I think, and you could even move Mick Foley there. Foley would know when to shut up, and he brings actual ring knowledge to the table with him.

TNA hired Russo at the worst possible time. They had just got Kurt Angle, and I believe it was the absolute most interest people had shown in TNA. They sat up, took notice, TNA's site crashed...and then they hired Russo.

kareru 08-04-2009 01:43 PM

its going to be 'unfiltered' russo for the next few weeks

place your bets now, whats going on the pole

i say a contract of some sorts

Anybody Thrilla 08-04-2009 01:58 PM

Karen Angle is still smokin' hot. Let's not forget that.
