Ah, what could have been.

Lets take a look at some of the wrestlers who's "____ is comming" promos lasted longer than their gimmick. Feel free to add to it.

Those Sean O'Haire promos are incredible. The gimmick itself is incredible.

Mordecai was that Matt guy who won tough enough...he got a brain tumor and nearly died...he cant wrestle anymore thats why Mordecai's character didnt last

It was honestly a shame that Waylon Mercy was too broken down to make this gimmick work. It was just creepy enough to be effective. Something wasn't right about him, and he would snap at a moment's notice. Ziggler is the closest we've gotten, but he's too campy for his own good.
