I'm all for an Eric Young push, but he looks dumb with a shaved head and is way too awesome to be a heel. he should be the DDP of TNA.

I watched Impact for the first time in a couple months, and couldn't help but notice almost everyone in the MEM has some kind of manager/valet. It's a huge clusterfuck whenever they get into the ring. And then they brought out that World Elite group to "join forces". There had to be like 20 people in that ring for the opening segment...ridiculous.

There are ways to form alliances between two factions without having everyone standing around doing nothing while the leaders talk. Why not just have Angle and Young work something out in a promo without having all the henchmen and bimbos looking bored in the background?

So basically TNA is all at war, which is kind of cool. I totalyl missed this whole episode, and havent watched in months. Anyone have links to a full episode?

So explain to me the current stories / Factions/ Angles

it was fun to watch but the only thing that appealed to me was the BME from Daniels in the ring when MCMG/Daniels were working the crowd and when the "cops" showed up. Kip James bit was funny.

Main Event Mafia (Angle, Nash, Booker T, Steiner, Joe, Traci Brooks, Taz, Sharmell, Survivor girl) loosely affiliated with Matt Morgan have an alliance with the World Elite (British guys, Eric Young, Kyioshi, Daivari) and are against the young up and comers (Foley, Sting, Lashley) with the help of feuding teams now friends (Beer Money, Dudleys) the X Division (Daniels, Shelley, Sabin) and AJ Styles. LAX are now doing their thing and being awesome.

Yeah. This was the first show with the new guys in charge, right?

No, the old dudes got fired right after this was taped.

Seems a bit too much.

I think its kind of cool to have nearly the whole promotion in one big angle, so it involves even the lower guys. Like a Civil War. But the teams are just kind of stupid.

Holy shit! Impact actually had something kind of interesting for once.

That was awesome. Lets see if they can follow up next week.

I agree, it was a good episode but they have to follow up or it will mean nothing.

They keep it interesting this show, with the huge brawl

FWIW, I wasn't all that interested in the start of the brawl, but the fact that it went on for so long with so many people getting involved made it watchable. I loved Don West saying something like "I've got half a mind to go out and get me some myself!"

I got a kick out of the MCMG walking in on Daniels' promo..."Oh, it's a TV camera...I wouldn't have known since we haven't been on TV in a month"

I loved how Don West said that the cops should arrest Brother Ray only.

that preview for the new guy was cool

and the new guy being Elijah Burke is cooler

lets hope that they can put on a show like that every week and i might just forgive vince russo

I actually thoroughly enjoyed iMPACT!. Pretty much everything on the show worked. Let's hope they can keep it up.

Yeah I really enjoyed it. The massive brawl was awesome. I like how everyone's at war, it's like what I always used to do with my action figures, a massive group of heels V a smaller group of faces :cool:

The war is not nearly as messy as I assumed it would be. You've got the Main Event Mafia, which by now are well established. They're former World Champions looking for respect. Then you've got World Elite, who on the surface are anti-American, but a truthfully probably more upset that they themselves have not lived up to their potential -- and are after respect.

Then you've got those that are opposing them for either personal reasons, or because they have seem companies collapse under regimes such as this, or because they themselves are after respect. If they keep the sides stoic, and don't switch guys in between them every week, this could turn out to be awesome in passing the torches to some new guys.

And there's always Kip James there to pick up the trash.
