In Moncton? I was there too man. It was pretty awesome.

Blue Demon 08-07-2009 04:08 PM

had a wicked time

Inadequacy 08-07-2009 04:11 PM

Did you stay at the weird campground thing they set up?

muffalufagus 08-07-2009 04:26 PM

It was really good, I wished that played Money Talks though

Just as well, there was a large abundance of tattoos and a severe deprevity of t-shirts.

Blue Demon 08-07-2009 04:35 PM

indeed...although there were a lot of boobs to be seen at the concert

Inadequacy 08-07-2009 04:39 PM

I was curious as to why that Asian girls first reaction to being on camera was to take her top off.

Sixx 08-07-2009 05:45 PM

Set list looks awesome. How long was that show? Seems like well over 2 hours.

Blue Demon 08-07-2009 05:54 PM

It was like 2:15

Sixx 08-07-2009 05:56 PM

Any support?

There was The Answer and Anvil. Caught the last bit of Anvil right before AC/DC

Sixx 08-07-2009 06:05 PM

Don't know The Answer and don't care for Anvil.

Anyways I envy you, I missed the last show they had in these parts ( still in another country though ) and I don't think the chances are too high for them coming back around here. :(

Blue Demon 08-07-2009 06:11 PM

I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to see them....they were one of 2 favourite bands that I have left to see, the other being Dave Matthews Band

Sixx 08-07-2009 06:37 PM

I had to choose between AC/DC and Motley Crue because of the finances.

As much as I love AC/DC the choice was simple for me.

Did you write down each song as they played it so you would know the order so you could post it on here

Inadequacy 08-07-2009 10:05 PM

the answer was pretty good, did you catch when the guy introducing the show called them "The Anchovy?"

I didn't really like Anvil but I watched their documentary "Anvil: The Story of Anvil" today and it was really good.

I tried to do it from memory, got some of it right. I went to www.setlist.fm to get the real one.

caps loch

El Fangel 08-08-2009 01:33 AM

Dude, were you in the same spot as you were when we were at the eagles? It looks like it...

Downunder 08-08-2009 01:38 AM

Except the music was better

Bad Company 08-08-2009 02:55 AM

I'm seeing them in NZ when they come. CAN'T WAIT.

I was actually further back

El Fangel 08-08-2009 11:10 AM

About the same amount of people? More? Less?

Blue Demon 08-08-2009 01:03 PM

A lot more...Eagles had 40,000...AC/DC had 75,000

El Fangel 08-08-2009 01:05 PM

Holy shit, how? It was from the bottom of the hill straight to the top with no room before. Where people up in the woods or some shit?

Blue Demon 08-08-2009 01:22 PM

It's a big site dude...considering the Rolling Stones played in front of 85,000 there...

El Fangel 08-08-2009 01:25 PM

Maybe it just seemed alot bigger, when I was to the canada day concert on citadel hill there was only 28,000 so maybe the crowd looked bigger in Moncton.

Seriously man, 85,000 people?

Jesus.

Thats 85,000 x $120.00 a ticket minimum + VIP which would be like $15,000,000 for that one show.

Nuts.

Inadequacy 08-08-2009 02:12 PM

Apparently there was enough beer sold to fill a pool 30 feet long by 25 feet wide by 3 feet deep.

And I read it averaged out to eleven beers being sold every second.

El Fangel 08-08-2009 03:02 PM

2250 cubic feet of beer, that is amazing.

11 beers a second, that is nuts.

Hundreds of Ac/Dc fans breached security at the band's gig in Canada on Thursday night - jumping a fence to see their idols for free.

Ticket offices at the Magnetic Hill site in Moncton, Canada were overwhelmed as thousands of people queued up in a last-minute bid to buy tickets to the massive outdoor show.

After more than an hour's wait, impatient fans began scaling the perimeter fence - outwitting security teams and gaining access to the concert.

Hundreds more avid gig-goers followed once the manned ticket stations were closed, according to Canada's CBC News.

Police officials told the website no one was hurt in the rush to leap the fence.

lol
