BTW, I'm talking like 70s Clapton, not 90s pop shit Clapton.

As much as I love Hendrix, I'm gonna have to go with Clapton here.

Hendrix got up onstage with clapton once when hendrix was still relatively unknown, and blew clapton off the stage apparently.

Clapton/Hendrix.......tough call. Clapton's stuff he did with 'Cream' back in the 70's was awesome. Hendrix also has some great shit. I like them both

If I remember right, it was part of his record deal that he performed with Clapton.

Thing is, Claptons songs make Jimi's look crap, but Jimi's guitar playing remains unrivaled.

I read up on it, it was before Hendrix was signed, when he first came over to the UK looking to get a work permit. Chas Chandler got him upstage with Clapton and Hendrix just went about being the man.

I Like Clapton as a personal preference, but Hendrix has got to get the nod.
