Blitz has been taken down the competition for awhile now so I think he needs to find a formidable opponent. So tonight battle where the winner will face blitz is

WWF Attitude vs WCW Revenge

I bought N64 exclusively for Revenge.

Revenge is my favorite N64 game probably. So no brainer. Though I do think Attitude and those games get a bad rap, I did enjoy them.

Fuck yeah I think WCW Revenge was one of the first games I played on N64. I think my friend rented it. That is where I first learned of Dean Malenko, AKI Man, and then the elusive THQ Man.

Revenge definitely. Attitude was good for its time, but once Revenge came along with the better engine (i.e. much easier controls), Attitude (and War Zone and WCW Backstage Assault and ECW Hardcore Revolution) were deemed awful by comparison.

Pretty sure Revenge came out before WCW BA.

I remember starting a royal rumble with 40 or 30 people with 2 friends and won start to finish.

I got my N64 just so I could play Revenge. And for that whole year until i got Wrestlemania 2000 I played it to death. Amzing game.

I hated Attitude.

WCW Revenge. That game basically started what might be the best wrestling engine ever used in wrestling games.

WWF Attitude had its moments with Career Mode but felt rushed because Acclaim lost the liscense and couldn't get extra time to polish the game.

if revenge had entrance themes, it would be the best game ever.

Revenge. If they had a CAW, it would have been the best wrestling game ever.

Revenge was the whole reason I even bought a N64

Revenge. I do remember changing Kevin Nash's name to mine so I could have the Jacknife (since no CAW).

Someone should remake Revenge, but with career mode, themes and all that stuff. would be tremendous

I know it did. The point I was making was that similar games (like the ones I mentioned) were disliked because everyone compared them Revenge.

And really, none of them stand up to Revenge (or WM2000 & No Mercy) in terms of playability.

Yeah it was definetely missing the career mode. However I would mark out like crazy whenever I won the WCW title with Hogan and got to see the nWo spraypainted over the belt. Good times.

WM2k was awesome as well. I still have the N64 along with those two games and Ocarina of Time. No Mercy never came out in Europe as far as I know. Ok, Poland at least. I've only played it using the emulator, but it ain't the same.

REVENGE! REVENGE!

I renamed all the Revenge guys and changed their costumes. I cahnged Hulk Hogan to Bob Clan, Randy Savage to Nacho Boo Cabc Futter, The Giant to Giant Speeding Goose, Meng to TITANIC SEET row 30, Bret Hart to Skittles, Bischoff to Rubber Duckie, executioner to MAMAMAMAMAMAMmoo, and so many others....

How were them pills?

Attitude was all style and no substance. And the style wasn't that great either. Revenge was amazing.

Wait a minute so is this the actual round or is it a round to decide the competition?

I have to go with Revenge, it is simply the better game here, the gameplay was much better. I loved Attitude back in the day but that was because I didnt have an N64 back then. When I got an N64 though I realized how much better the AKI wrestling games were.

Wrestlemania 2000 for the win. But WCW revenge kicked ass as well. I was a beast on both games.

WrestleMania 2K was extremely well done, and came pretty close to revolutionizing a genre. However, it was No Mercy that was built as the sequel to WM 2K and it ignited a firestorm of new innovation and gameplay that revolutionized how wrestling video games from Nintendo GameCube to today's systems have been designed.

As previously mentioned I frequently do an all day n64 tourney. And on my main tv I have a Sony Surround sound system, and it comes with a Satellite wireless speaker connection that I put in my bathroom. I leave it on all day for this event. One friend was in the bathroom when next game got started. He heard the truck from the intro video and all you hear from the bathroom is "YOU DON'T WANT ME IN NO REVENGE!"

I loved using Goldberg in Royal Rumbles in Revenge. I would spear everyone to knock them over the top rope.
