I know this might be difficult, but I was looking through my PPVs today and was wondering what your 10 favorite WWE Championship matches are, not World title. I am listing 20 since I have so many I like.

Are you for serious? The match were the Undertaker botched the ending to the match that was a complete waste of 60 minutes?

No Angle-Benoit, no I Quit Match from Royal Rumble 1999, no Savage-Flair, no HBK-Mankind... fucks wrong with you?

He must be a Taker fan I suppose cuz I know I was so damned pissed off after such a brilliant match which to me would have been the best Iron Match ever only to have it ruined by that.

It's got 4 Cena matches on it. I like Cena but 4 of the top 15 all time world title matches?

Surprised it is not in alphabetical order.

I don't know about best ever, but it was pretty damn good and they did a really good job of keeping the fans in it the whole time, only to have it botched. It was terrible.

Oh yeah I noticed you don't have any Angle matches in this list either are you mad? :wtf:

I like the WM 15 match. I just prefer the WM 17 one. As far as austin/rock 1999 matches go, I like their Backlash match the best.

I like the Wrestlemania 15 match as well, I just thought 17 was better.

I like Angle vs. Benoit from the Royal Rumble 2003, great match, no doubt. I thought I had put Rock vs. Angle fron NWO 2001, guess not. Savage vs. Flair was alright, the feud was better. The Royal Rumble 1999 is a great title match. Definitely Angle-Benoit and Royal Rumble 1999 are in the top 20, maybe I should have put 20. Sorry if I offended you. I do like those matches.

Oh, and also, one that should have easily cracked both posters' top 10:

The 3rd and final overall championship match featuring Y2J as World Champ, Austin apparently as WWF champ, and both of them going at it to determine who would walk out as UNDISPUTED Champion.

I only included WWE World HEavyweight Championship or WWE Heavyweight Championship matches... If I included World HEavyweight Championship matches it would have been much different.

These are some of the worst lists I've ever seen.

Perhaps our wrestling pallet isn't quite as refined as yours...

That's my working theory for right now.

From the person who has Triple H (c) v. The Big Show v. Mick Foley v. The Rock from Wrestlemania 2000 on their list, when the match wasn't even in the top 3 title matchs that year.

And Lesnar/Taker was decent, but not even in the top 20 all time, let alone number 1.

So your working theory is probably full of shit.

This is just... wrong.

I mean, I'm not saying it's an auto top 5 or auto top 10 or auto anything. But to be so against it being in the top 20 is ridiculous. It was a GREAT match.

I wasn't impugning your wrestling acumen, I was actually saying that your wrestling pallet may be more refined than mine, which means you have a taste for the finer things in life. Like as far as an analogy is concerned you're idea of a good wrestling meal is kobe beef but my idea of a good wrestling meal is hamburger. This is a working theory.

I was just stating my favorite wrestling matches where the WWE Championship was on the line. Perhaps that wasn't the point of this thread. Perhaps the thread was about an objective view of what is the greatest matches involving the WWE Championship. In that case my subjective list of the greatest matches involving the WWE Championship were totally out of line and I appologize for sullying the sanctity of of this thread.

A thousand pardons if my opinions disturbed or frustrated you in any way.

Or, you could grow up and not be a douche bag... I don't really care which. I like those matches above any else involving the the WWE Championship and your subjective opinion can't change my subjective opinion no matter how wrong I am and how right you are.
