See Out Of Order if you can find it. It was an old Showtime series starring Eric Stoltz. Only ran for 6 eps but it was amazing.

#1-norm-fan 08-15-2009 07:40 PM

Was all ready to say Arrested Development when I saw the thread title.

Only one I can think of right now really.

RoXer 08-15-2009 08:00 PM

The Sopranos
Dexter

since Buffy and Angel were already mentioned im going to go with

Firefly

and if you were a fan of Buffy or Angel I would suggest Charmed....not sure how it ended cause I stopped watching it after a certain point but it was a pretty good show till the end.

Danny Electric 08-15-2009 08:31 PM

I'd say Carnivale but I don't know if it would be your taste.

Indifferent Clox 08-15-2009 08:35 PM

battle star galactica is pretty awesome

Dexter is done?

CSL 08-16-2009 12:25 AM

Nah, Season 4 starts in about a month

FearedSanctity 08-16-2009 12:35 AM

Jericho

Mr. Monday Morning 08-16-2009 07:21 AM

Most of the ones I'd put are mentioned already. Definitely The Wire though.

Otherwise, West Wing.

Alias is kinda goofy fun for the 1st 2 seasons before it started to go downhill (typical JJ Abrams)

Spaced

Frasier

No but I don't see the network just canceling it midway if thatls what youlre worried about.

Season 2 wasn't the best but it was still a great season to add to the series. I don't think they could churn out a "bad" season if you're worried about that too.

Why are you looking for "complete" shows?

Carnivale is awesome, but it was cancelled after the second season, so it is incomplete.

Ogen 08-16-2009 12:53 PM

Wire, West Wing are two of the best things you'll ever have the privilege to watch.

Also Aussies some show called Underbelly thats meant to be great, is it?

Savio 08-16-2009 01:28 PM

Prison Break

Only watch the first season though

Yeah but there won't be any more of it made, is what I think he's asking for. So not having to download a new ep each week etc.

So I can watch the whole thing in a few sittings.

Not what I meant, I meant complete as in they're not making anymore episodes, not necessarily as in they wrapped up the plot.

Underbelly is fucking AWESOME. Both series are true stories. :y:

Mr. Nerfect 08-17-2009 10:33 AM

The Wire, Homicide: Life on the Street and The Sopranos come to mind. They are pretty obvious. I'm not sure whether it fits the billing or not, but Scrubs is going to undergo major changes, to the point where it might not even have the same name anymore. Does that count?

Anybody Thrilla 08-17-2009 12:52 PM

Dead Like Me
Home Movies

Loose Cannon 08-17-2009 01:28 PM

Keeping up with the Kardashians

Kapoutman 08-17-2009 04:20 PM

Veronica Mars :o

I'm pretty sure I wasn't in the targeted demographic, but I really enjoyed it.

DaveBrawl 08-17-2009 04:31 PM

Drive - only 4 episodes aired and I think Fox filmed 6 and streamed the last two on their website. Fun stuff though.

Married With Children

Alf :shifty:

Jon Kano 08-17-2009 05:01 PM

I would get straight onto The Sopranos if you really want to see one of the best, well, arguably the best TV serial drama show ever made.

I wish I could watch it again for the first time.
