Love Bull Durham. Definitely one of the best sports movies made.

This will be the second time I've voted against Dumb and Dumber. It's not that I don't love Dumb and Dumber. At one point earlier in my life it was probably my favorite movie. It's a comedy classic, but I've grown out of some of the humor, and other jokes have been over-exposed.

I guess don't hold it on the pedestal that I used to. It still is a good movie, and a lot of it still makes me laugh. It's well balanced in the sense that all forms of humor are present. There's some great stuff in there that doesn't get the credit of the big physical or in-your-face gags.

i didn't like either movie.

Dumb and Dumber, I've heard of Bull Durham but I don't think I've watched much if any of it.

Bull Durham isnt the best baseball movie. In fact its not even the best kevin costner baseball movie. Dumb and Dumber for HOF So you're telling me theres a chance!!!

Still one of the few movies I can watch any time its on tv

and I was never impressed with Bull Durham

Although it was the what brought Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon together, I'm voting for Bull Durham here, in that it's a cult classic down this way. And when I say cult classic, I mean among the 3% of the population that play and/or follow baseball down here.

Dumb and Dumber has announced its presence with authority.

My vote went to Bull Durham. I'm not a baseball fan but I don't think you need to be to enjoy this movie. To me, Dumb and Dumber is a good example of a funny nostalgia movie that you watch late at night when you have nothing better to do and may be drunk/stoned. You know all the jokes, but they're funny anyway, and have been for the last fifteen or so years. That's all well and good, but I feel that Bull Durham is the better movie overall.

Also, not to name names, but at least one of you who admitted to not seeing both movies voted in the poll. Don't be a dickhead.

Bull Durham to me isn't the best baseball that Costner has appeared in I enjoyed Field Of Dreams more. If this were the matchup it would have been a lot harder to chose. Don't get me wrong it's one of the better ones but a lot of them have been good especially if you're a fan of the game itsef.

Field of Dreams is ok but it's just so sappy. Bull Durham is constantly entertaining.

Went with Bull Durham. Still pretty much a tossup for me but this beatdown is just brutal.
