Reavant 08-21-2009 02:45 AM

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN

HeartBreakMan2k 08-21-2009 02:50 AM

Yeah, that's fuckin AMAZING

El Fangel 08-21-2009 03:48 AM

Now that is fucking awesome. Guess what I will be doing.

Dave Youell 08-21-2009 04:47 AM

How wise is it to go against one of the biggest PPV's of the year?

El Capitano Gatisto 08-21-2009 06:36 AM

Mayweather vs Marquez, easy. Seems a bit gay to do something like this.

Impact! 08-23-2009 02:10 AM

They'll only be airing a couple of fights on spike...I believe it's only a 1 hour show (commercial free) as well. Efrain V Cole Miller and McFedries V Drwal are the two i've heard about.

Loose Cannon 08-23-2009 02:15 AM

pretty sweet

Gertner 08-23-2009 03:09 AM

I'll be watching Mayweather v Marquez. Not a hard choice.

Dave Youell 08-23-2009 04:58 AM

So based on the straw poll from TPWW members (which lets face it, is better than actual facts)

Boxing > MMA

On this occasion

Now, what if it were that UFC 100 card show against it, what would you of done then?

Impact! 08-23-2009 05:19 AM

It's kinda sad as the 103 card is pretty fucking awesome (imo)

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 08-23-2009 08:36 AM

Boxing is shit.

I'd have watched Brock over Mayweather. I don't know if there's any other MMA guys I'd watch over him though

Reavant 08-23-2009 04:36 PM

GSP, Randy, Silva?

CSL 08-23-2009 05:07 PM

Randy for sure

Crimson 08-23-2009 07:10 PM

The numbers won't lie. We'll see who pulls in the most ppv buys. Im guessing Mayweather..but the 103 headliner isn't a huge showstopper either.

Reavant 08-23-2009 09:00 PM

Yea ufc should have moved the randy nog fight up a month to take on mayweather

Mayweather vs. Marquez, easy.

Don't see why there's a need to play the two off each other to be honest.

The Gold Standard 08-25-2009 10:22 PM

This is going to really show how everyone feels about boxing now. People think boxing is dead, but I have a feeling that this will be closer in buys then people think.

I won't be watching either because my school doesn't have PPV offers, I would probably watch UFC, but I would be checking what is going on in the Mayweather Marquez fight online or something.

Loose Cannon 08-25-2009 10:24 PM

not a boxing fan at all. never was

Same.

The Mask 08-26-2009 08:33 PM

am i right in thinking ufc ppv's are cheaper than boxing ones? could make a difference.

Impact! 08-26-2009 10:42 PM

In Australia UFC PPV's cost $40, while boxing can be anywhere from $50 to $90 I believe...

El Capitano Gatisto 08-29-2009 12:26 PM

I like watching both, don't really see why they're played off against each other. They're two different sports, most other sports manage not to schedule their big events against each other so more people can see them, never mind go out of their way to do so. Dana White is a bit of a cock and this makes UFC seem cheap if it's a deliberate ploy. Boxing isn't in the best of shape these days but it's not going to go away because increasing numbers of people are switching on to a different sport as well.

Vastardikai 08-29-2009 12:40 PM

Fuck Floyd Mayweather

that is all I have to add.

This, except for the being a fan of boxing bit. I'll watch the occasional match if it's really fast paced or there is some storied rivalry to it, but otherwise not too interested.

This too, actually. It's like Good gave him so much talent that there's no room for manners too.
