It's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights, it's time to tell us your favorite and least favorite Muppet in this thread tonight! Feel free to include Muppet Babies in your consideration.

Best Muppet: Rowlf.

As a kid, my favorite was always Gonzo, but as I have grown older, I've grown to like Rowlf more.


Worst: Scooter.

I'm going to have to think about the best but the worst without hesitation is Ms Piggy. Fuck that bitch.

Best: Gonzo
Worst: Robin

So many candidates for top Muppet, but I have always been a Gonzo fan so that is ultimately where I will vote. Crazy Harry should get some respect as well. Also Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker. They play off of each other perfectly.

Kermit's nephew gets my vote because he's too sappy. As a kid I had a tape where he did a song about being halfway up the stairs and I believe it fostered my hatred of Robin. Blah.

Best: Fozzy Bear
Worst: Beaker

Although I enjoyed them greatly, I am not going to pick Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker or Statler and Waldorf because of their lack of interaction with other characters.

I think I'll have to give the nod to Gonzo the Great just barely over Rowlf. Gonzo's performance as Charles Dickens in The Muppet Christmas Carol seals the deal for me.

Best Muppet: Fozzy
Worst Muppet: Animal

Best: Sam the Eagle. Just such a contrast from everything else on the show. I didn't really like him as a kid though. Probably because most of his bits would go over my head.

Worst: I agree with Robin.

Best: Swedish Chef, Statler and Waldorf 2nd.

Worst: Camilla the Chicken

Best: Rowlf

Worst: Pepe

All I ever listened to when I was younger was the Muppet Show album on vinyl. Still know all those bits by heart just about.

Found this while at Disney World.

Its the old-school/new-school thing for me. Rizzo is the same...and might actually be worse now that I think about it.

Although Rizzo wasn't really a "new" muppet either.

Best: Fozzy but swedish chef is a very close second

Worst: Robin

Yeah Halfway Up The Stairs is the last song on the Muppet Show album (maybe first side...dunno). Incredibly sappy. I like it, but I tend to like sad stuff, even from a tiny puppet.

I dont know about best but the worst for me is Kermit.

Best: gonna go with Swedish Chef
Worst: Janice, just cause she creeps me out

Best: Gonzo

He has usually been my favorite, both in the Muppet Show/movies, and Muppet Babies. I guess his crazy behavior and antics have won me over.
It's also the great work of Frank Oz.
It's hard though because I love like 5 other muppets almost as much. On a different day I'd probably say others.

Worst: Janice the hippy chick

How can someone hate Kermit? Seriously can't process that

word, hating Kermit is like hating...I don't even know

Best: Sweetums
Seriously, as muppets go he was hands down the most unique. A cast full of Sweetums like muppets wouldn't have worked out, but having him on hand was great.
Honorable mentions: Beaker (childhood favorite) & the Swedish Chef.

Worst: Robin
Seriously, he has no redeeming values. He's just a mini Kermit without the likableness.
Dishonorable mentions: George (the lame ass janitor) & the sax player in the band.

Best: Pepe, Swedish Chef, Statler and Waldorf

Worst: Robin, Miss Piggy

I could see how you guys could hate the individual members of Dr. Teeth, but surely you can grant some amnesty for their contributions to the band. That's like saying you hate Ringo but love the Beatles.
