WWE mulling over more new PPV ideas
 

World Wrestling Entertainment are mulling over future ideas for themed PPV events. In a survey issued to select fans today, WWE asked for feedback on the following themes:

Street Fight Event - described as "main events would feature street fights with no disqualification"

Tournament Event - described as a "single elimination bracket style tournament where Superstars
would compete in multiple matches during the night to become the tournament winner

Tables, Ladders & Chairs Event - with TLC Matches being featured in the main events of the show.

Bring back the 1 night only King of the Ring...or have a one night tournament for #1 contender to a world title match that night.

Yeah #2 is the best option here by far

An all TLC main event is one of the dumbest things I've heard.

I hope that the tourny wins, but it won't.

They should do a Tournament of Death and the Street Fight PPV sounds like a bad Idea.

If they do TLC it will ruin the match just like the Hell in a Cell PPV is going to do.

Pretty sure they are only going to survey 10 year old kids who will all select TLC.

I don't get why they need a "theme" if it's just the main event anyway.

Besides, things like TLC or Street Fights are more fun when they seem spontaneous.

Didn't catch this. TLC will probably get the nod because it's the most ridiculous choice.

there wouldn't be a purpose for you to put 64 wrestlers in a tournament do the KOR style qualifiers and a big ppv

I wouldn't mind seeing certain ppvs having certain main events, but if I wanted an entire card full of that stuff I'd watch LockDown.

Bringing back KoTR would be nice, and I wouldn't mind seeing No Way Out to be the official home of The Elimination Chamber (with one match being for a title, and the other for number one contendership status). Put Hell in a Cell in Survivor Series (don't know why) but don't make an entire ppv anchored around one match or match type. Keep TLC as a SummerSlam tradation, but a full ppv? Do a street fight mainevent after Mania and call it a Backlash Brawl.
But a full ppv... No.
