Danny Electric 08-28-2009 10:29 PM

Gay.
Well that album was sick.

Any subsequent work is lame in my opinion.

I've heard some old HIM songs and they were pretty cool, so I assume their very first CD might have been decent. The popular HIM is all crap, though.

CSL 08-31-2009 11:20 AM

:foc:

 HIM. Admittedly the better songs are mostly 'albums tracks' though.

Sixx 08-31-2009 11:27 AM

Hm. When I type "HIM wiki" in google the first I get is HIM in Polish wikipedia and the second is "Jesus" in english Wikipedia. Fucked up.

DaveBrawl 08-31-2009 11:30 AM

Big & Rich :shifty:

Sixx 08-31-2009 11:32 AM

Wow. I didn't know country still sells so good in the US.

Gertner 08-31-2009 11:43 AM

I agree, kinda. Hot Fuss was amazing, Sams Town was wank, Day & Age was an improvement.

Fignuts 09-02-2009 06:44 PM

I like Sam's Town a lot more than Day and Age.

But yeah. More songs like "Somebody Told Me". Less like "Read my Mind", please.

Pretty much sums up my feelings about The Killers at the moment.

Impeccable 09-03-2009 04:19 AM

Agree with The Darkness. Their first album is one of my favourites of all time.

As soon as Frankie Poulain left the band, they just seemed to lose "it". Second album (One Way Ticket) was a poor attempt, with maybe one or two standout tracks.

Impeccable 09-03-2009 04:22 AM

A fair few British bands;

The Fratellis
Franz Ferdinand
Bloc Party
The Feeling
Keane
Reverend and The Makers

Penner 09-03-2009 11:35 AM

Franz was never good

Fignuts 09-04-2009 05:44 PM

Nah, their first album was good. But their second albums were just more of the same. Not particularly bad, but absolutely nothing that stood out, in comparison with the first.

Fignuts 09-04-2009 05:45 PM

Also, I liked Under the Iron Sea more than Hopes and Fears.

muffalufagus 09-04-2009 05:53 PM

Franz's second album was alright. I like their latest installment much better than the second, but not as much as the first.

Fabien Barthez 09-07-2009 12:05 PM

The Zutons.
