Anybody listen to these guys? They are damn good I'd say.

Don't be turned off by the fact that the lead singer sounds like somebody who would end up on Penner's top 10 artist list, they make extremely great, harmonic music that's really understated and entertaining. Just downloaded some of their stuff a few days ago

they sound dubiously like horse the band to me

HORSE the Band > Band of Horses

But I don't mind the latter, I guess. Didn't wow me when I tried to get into them a couple years back.

Saw them at bonaroo the funeral is amazing

Tell me more about "horse the band." I thought Soufwood must surely be taking the piss with that one.

horse the band are fucking great. video game-esque keyboard heavy rock and roll. i'm not sure how you'd feel about them. gonna go wtih "dislike" but you could surprise me.

also i really enjoy certain songs from band of horses (funeral, st. augustine, islands on the coast) but they don't blow me away.

I dislike everything.

Recommend me some songs and I'll listen on Youtube or something. I'm never opposed to trying new stuff, like or otherwise.
