Weakest looking finishers

First one that comes to mind R truths scissors kicks/ Corkscrew elbow

Stealth-Icon 08-29-2009 08:31 PM

Hogan Leg Drop

Xero 08-29-2009 08:31 PM

The People's Elbow.

The Gold Standard 08-29-2009 08:34 PM

I'm going Attitude Adjustment.

Wrestlers take bumps like that all the time. ex. Chokeslam, flipping off the top rope, flipping over the top rope, etc.

i can't agree on that one i think that's a pretty solid slam

Stealth-Icon 08-29-2009 08:36 PM

619/ jump from the rope by the Midget Mexican

No different from someone taking a big boot the the head like Kane gives people or a dropkick. And I can't stand "Tuning up the Band" when he stomps on the mat for a minute which should just make the "victim" know not to get up.

blak23 08-29-2009 08:43 PM

The STFU.
Can anyone tell me how that hurts at all? he doesn't pull back or anything i challenge anyone to justify that move

blak23 08-29-2009 08:43 PM

The worm

mike adamle 08-29-2009 08:44 PM

MVP's Playmaker.

Stealth-Icon 08-29-2009 08:44 PM

Two moves which should be strong, but usually look bad when having them done are the GTS and the Stroke

Calamondin 08-29-2009 08:44 PM

I agree with the "Tuning up the band" part, but I think the kick itself is pretty solid.

I think the GTS looks good depending on the person who has to sell it

Xero 08-29-2009 08:47 PM

GTS is all about the selling of the knee.

Exactly what I mean. It should be a solid finisher, but not too many take it well. Same with The Stroke by JJ. Most people end up on their knees and don't sell well at all.

mike adamle 08-29-2009 08:49 PM

The Fameasser.

mike adamle 08-29-2009 08:49 PM

Khali Chop and Khali Vise Grip

Stealth-Icon 08-29-2009 08:51 PM

Andre the Giants finisher. I don't think that he actually had one, just sat on you for the pin.

what was wrong with it

IRodC 08-29-2009 08:52 PM

I gotta agree with MVPs playmaker, when elix skipper did it it had more impact

Stealth-Icon 08-29-2009 08:53 PM

The Flying Burrito by Tito Santana. At least that is what Bobby Heenan always called it.

How could it hurt? The person would land on Billy's calf, not even his shin, his calf, that wouldn't hurt.

blak23 08-29-2009 08:56 PM

the fameasser was when he put his leg on the back of your neck and you landed face first

mike adamle 08-29-2009 08:58 PM

Big Show's Alley Oop. It wasn't necessarily ineffective, but why not go for the powerbomb, that's much more effective.

He'd also put his other leg under the forehead, so it'd be a safer landing, thus making it look ineffective as well.

blak23 08-29-2009 08:58 PM

actually i just youtubed it you were right

Stealth-Icon 08-29-2009 09:01 PM

A move that I think looks cool but I really don't think would hurt you is the Swanton. Doing it from a ladder to a table is one thing, but top rope to the mat, usually doesn't hit that much of you.

blak23 08-29-2009 09:05 PM

the mizard of oz i think its called a rising knee to neckbreaker

Favre4Ever 08-29-2009 09:07 PM

Hornswoggle: Tadpole Splash.

Emperor Smeat 08-29-2009 09:16 PM

muffalufagus 08-29-2009 09:19 PM

the attitude adjustment. i hate that move so much. soooo so much.

They take that slam all the time. Like a Body Slam and a Back Body Drop.

wehavebensavedy2j 08-29-2009 09:31 PM
