Fedor M-1 Exhibition Match
 

Here's what Fedor has been up to lately. Sparring exhibition match with Gegard Mousasi. Didn't want to post it in the other thread because I think I kind of destroyed it.

Hmm. If the announcers don't think Lesnar can make it one round with Fedor, I wonder how long they think Rogers will last?

What do you expect they're commentators for an M-1 event, of course they're going to play up how great Fedor is.

I honestly think that Fedor could finish Brock in a round, but it wouldn't be a definite, nor would Fedor's victory be certain. Fedor has quick hips and is good with swivling for submissions, so he could catch an inexperienced Brock (yes Fedor's submissions are better than Mir's).

But these announcers are really missing the point by saying that Brock wouldn't last one round with Fedor...

People aren't pissed about him being in Strikforce because they think Brock would win, they're pissed because he has the best chance to win of anyone in the world. Brett Rogers? Are you kidding me? If those commentators think Brett Rogers is in anyway worthy of fighting the best fighter in the world (or at least more worthy that Brock) they should stop commentating on MMA because they have no idea what they're talking about.

But those are smart guys, and they know that Fedor fighting Brett Rogers is a joke. They also know that Fedor not going to the UFC is a hit on his credability (whether that's justified or not). I could accept Fedor not going to the UFC if he fought Barnett (not he fault he didn't), Werdum, Monson, or Overeem, but Brett Rogers? I repeat ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

One last note, it's fairly obvious that that exhabition was more work than it was a shoot to make Fedor and Mousasi look awesome (which they are but still). I guess I shouldn't care since it's just an exhabition, but I guess it just shows how M-1 operates.

Personally I'd rate Rogers higher than Monson (but only just).

I can see that since Rogers has a bigger win than any Monson has ever gotten. But in a fight between the two Monson would win... Though you are right Rogers poses a bigger threat to Fedor than does Monson (both having like a 5% chance though).
