It was better he was released. It was cool when he made an appearance @ Mania 19, but I didn't expect the bastard to stay around. He killed Sean O'Haire's career.

Piper admitted that the kilt was indeed a skirt. This made Vince McMahon furious that this came out on HBO, rather than on WWE Programing.

Seriously though, he admitted to previous drug use and hinted that he still did use drugs (from what I read), and the WWE thought it was best if they parted ways.
