I was reading his stuff on the front page. Why was he sadden by the way his contract expired in 04? What happened?(Mobile post)

I'm sure it's cause his contract ended and he was pretty much told by the WWE "thanks for everything" and that was it. I don't think he was offered a new contract since the WWE figured he was going to do movies full time. From the sounds of it, if the WWE would have offered him a contract he would have accepted.

I don't have the time to find it, but Jim Cornette did a shoot a while ago and this was brought up. I forgot the guy's name, but there was someone in the main office that "forgot" to try to renew The Rock's contract.

I think this was the dude that might have slept with The Giant Baba's wife.

The WWE can be really retarded in their approach a lot of times. I heard a story that in Lilian Garcia's last WWE appearance, the writers deliberately fed her the wrong lines in order to embarrass her (since she was on her way out). :|
