Mario/Running...
I guess this goes for other platformers as well, but...
Getting my Mario on right now and it got me thinking. I rarely have my finger off the run button. The ONLY time it's not there is when I need something done that needs precision. So it got me thinking, why did they even have a run button? Why not a walk button? Or am I in the minority here? |
But it would feel so weird now to have a walk button. Now it shouldn't exist with sensitive analog sticks I guess, but I kind of like it. I realize though that like you I always have it down. Even when playing NSMB I would hold it down, and just run through levels, always dying cause I didn't know what was coming up.

Just imagine how ass backwards those precision parts would be if they were switched.
