Is this better than NHL 2K10? Never actually played a real hockey game.

NHL 10 is awesome and yes, better than 2K.

Yeah EA Sports NHL series has been their strongest sports game out of all their games (ratings wise) and probably better than NHL 2K series last 3-4 years.

Fuck, I've only played 09 4 times. And out of those 4 times, I played my copy once.

So pissed, was gonna rent it since I wont have the money to buy it till the weekend, and Hollywood video changed their policy after 10 years and, you can't rent games or blu ray movies without a credit card, which I never bothered to get one.

I remember NHL 94 being the best hockey game ever, so I'm sure 10 is great.

Actually, I think the last year I played was 98, and that was sick as hell too.

I always hated either 97 or 98 because of the glitch it had where the center wouldn't be able to move out from between the face off circles. He had one little lane he could go up and down the ice in for a few minutes then it would just go away. It was a fun game when that didn't kick it, it really put a damper on my Avs scoring attack.

That must've been 97, because my friends would always use The Avalanche and that NEVER happened. Maybe that was just your shitty copy.

Probably was 97, I can't remember the year exactly but it was one of those two. And I had the idea it was mine but I took a copy or two back to the store and got a new one and all of them did it. I think the game just hated the Avs because they were awesome and the rest of the league needed handicapping.

It's probably awesome, but since I bought 09, I won't be buying a new NHL for at least another year.

I have a PS3. I just don't have NHL 10.

Either one works just as well '09 or '10, they're practically interchangeable with few differences, although I would say that '09 probably came slightly closer than this year's version to equalling or surpassing the goldenness of NHL '94.

Just picked up NHL2010. ALOT les glichier than 09. The computer doesn't shoot the puck over the glass constantly like it did in 09 for one thing.

Pet Peeve. Why does the AI send out enforcers to penalty kill. This si the second year they've done this. I don't want Eric Godard and Paul Bissonette PK ing.

The be a GM is what I spend most of my time with. It's pretty damn good.

However, after the shitty season my team had, none of my core guys wanted to re-sign, so the look of my team is now completely different.

As for Godard, he's getting second line duties on Pittsburgh atm.
