OVW Heavyweight Championship Match
Leviathan vs. "The Machine" Doug Basham

Noid just came

Indifferent Clox 09-16-2009 07:11 PM

I pretty much just said that

Xero 09-16-2009 07:12 PM

So that pretty much confirms that they own their OVW library.

Juan 09-16-2009 07:12 PM

I bet Noid will really like the Ohio Valley Wrestling match.

FourFifty 09-16-2009 07:48 PM

Totally worth it just for his OVW match.

Emperor Smeat 09-16-2009 08:15 PM

Might as well call the extra dvds "The Batista Code Collection".
18 total matches.
10 heavyweight title matches, 1 royal rumble match that lead to another title match, and 1 tag team title match.

thedamndest 09-16-2009 08:23 PM

Really glad the Batista Lunchbox collection is in there.

legendkillerRKO 09-16-2009 08:27 PM

can this dvd play for an hour in the pit of danger?

Skippord 09-16-2009 09:53 PM

so do you guys think Noid's gonna like that OVW match? Cause I do

Quit overselling it.

Anyways, with Batista frequently stating that he probably only has a few years left, why the hell couldn't they wait for this?

Kami Raki 09-16-2009 10:52 PM

I can't wait for this to be played in the Vault!

They're assuming he won't put on any more matches better than:

No Holds Barred Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Batista vs. JBL
SummerSlam – August 21, 2005

I mean who could? That was like the 5th best match that night...

Why not put out a more useful DVD like The Best of the Brooklyn Brawler or The Glory Days of Gene Snitsky.

We don't need a DVD of Brawler and Patterson making love.

Rammsteinmad 09-17-2009 01:04 PM

Definitely not getting this unless I ever find it CHEAP! Got all the matches but three of 'em, and I don't care about the documentary all that much.

Xero 09-17-2009 01:21 PM

Once again, I have to say the DVD starts out on a lie. Batista barely moves.

I knew there was a joke in that somewhere.

Wouldn't buy this even on the cheap.

Fignuts 09-17-2009 03:34 PM

Or even if it came with another better dvd.

Fignuts 09-17-2009 03:34 PM

And cake.

Batista: I Walk Alone DVD Review

Picked up the new Batista: I walk alone DVD today.

Overall I thought the DVD was very good, and it featured a full length documentary on his life and career. Good footage of his OVW days as Leviathan. Batista does get emotional in a couple of spots on the documentary. First when he talks about the death of his grandson's father in a car crash, and second, talking about Eddie Guerrero. The documentary was very well done in my view.

Some of the matches included,

vs. Undertaker at 'Mania 23
vs. Triple H at 'Mania 21
vs. Triple H - Hell in a Cell
vs. John Cena - SummerSlam '08
vs. King Booker - Survivor Series '06

Those are some of the matches, over a dozen matches total on the DVD. 3 disc set total. I would highly recommend it, especially if you like the un-interrupted documentary format.

Someone actually bought that piece of garbage?

That is your opinion. It was actually a very good documentary. If anything, I bought it to add to my collection and for the documentary. I have pretty much all of the matches on DVD combined through other titles.

CWK 10-21-2009 06:21 AM

A little suprised that they are doing the DVD set on Batista now since there are alot of rumors that Batista is going to retire sometime in the next year or so. Would have made sense to wait until he left to release the DVD much like they did with the Flair DVD set in 2008.

I haven't seen a lot of these matches but, it seems like everyone he wrestled on this thing outshined him. It's easy to make HBK and Chris Jericho look good in a match because they're at a level above. Until Batista has a good match with Khali, he'll always be merely the third worst wrestler in the WWE (at this time).

Anyone seen ALL of these matches???

They should put out a DVD tribute to the jobbers. Just a collection of various squash matches. I would love it.

The Ravishing One 10-21-2009 05:32 PM

Awesome idea! i'd buy it :y:
