Wrost wrestling matches of all time.
 

Here are my top three in random order....

1. Undertaker/Kane vs. Kronik from Unforgiven 2001
2. Scott Steiner vs. Triple H from Royal Rumble 2003 (Embarrassing when Steiner fell backward during the double-under-hook suplex, crowd booed heavily during match.)
3. Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. The Warrior from Halloween Havoc 1998 (Start to finish horrible.)

Anyone else got any matches that come to mind?

Vince McMahon VS. Stephanie "I Quit"

You know, I remember seeing 2 of those matches when I was younger and really enjoying them. I loved Kronik when they wrestled for WCW and I remember liking the Steiner vs Triple H match too. I went back and checked them out and now I see why they are on the list. I feel sad and happy about it..happy that I clearly know more about wrestling now and sad that I feel like a part of my teen years is gone bahhh :rofl:

Just rewatched Steiner v HHH Rumble on dailymotion...what a horrible match. H and Flair did everything they could, but Steiner proved once again how useless he is. It's a miracle H didn't get injured, as Steiner was tired, hurting, wreckless, and sloppy during the entire thing. The crowd wasn't into it, and Steiner did nothing to even try to get them back in it. Saddest part besides the botching was Flair having a fit on the outside, trying everything, ANYTHING, to get a reaction out of the crowd, but no one could give a good God damn about Steiner. Top it all off with a horrible ending. Awful, awful match. Literally, a waste of blood.

Proof once more that you can't shine shit. :n:

You should watch their rematch from No Way Out. Just when you think you can't do worse ... Steiner out does himself. To the point the fans are rooting for Triple H. A lot.

The failed ECW deatmatch. They spoke about in on Forever Hardcore.

Chamber of Horrors at HH 1991.

Bash at the Beach (2000) : Hogan vs Jarrett for the WCW title. Match barely occurs as Jarrett just lays down for Hogan to pin. Hogan gets on the mic and basically shoots on Russo. Russo comes out and shoots on Hogan and fires him. Crowd basically has no clue whats going on and the ppv is basically ruined at this point.


Basically stopped watching WCW after this event since WCW continued to be in a huge mess. Next time I would watch would be last episode of WCW Nitro.

No company can take 2 "Finger Poke of Doom" style matches and be good in the end.

For me, Billy Gunn vs. Chris Benoit (2000?) was one of the worst matches that I have ever seen. Billy Gunn could have paralyzed Benoit several times during that match.

In retrospect, though, would that really have been all that bad...

Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg at Wrestlemania..... the crowd absolutely shit over the match....

I'll give ya that one. Both guys walked through the match and that is being generous.

This one here has to be one of the worst

Tom Magee had a great look but was horrible as a wrestler

I wouldn't blame that all on Magee. Wajima was no selling like a mad man.

Has there ever been another match where the SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE got the only real pops???

Yeah it happened during the Battle of The Billionaire's at WM23

How about JBL vs. Chris Jericho from 2008?

It's probably nowhere near the WORST match of all-time, but I was pretty surprised at the severe lack of chemistry that these men had with one another. Thankfully, Jericho moved on to greener pastures.

The Tower of Doom match needs a mention in every worst matches thread.
