A report on urban celebrity news site MediaTakeout.com says that controversial recording artist Kanye West has been offered close to $10 million to come to World Wrestling Entertainment.

The report states that Vince McMahon and WWE have offered Kanye close to $10 million to show up at 3 events – two television appearances and one pay-per-view event.

Word is that if he accepts the offer, Kanye would have to do some “light wrestling.” According to MediaTakeOut, Kanye is “seriously considering” the offer.

While the idea of Kanye in WWE sounds like a great chance for WWE to get some mainstream media attention, take this report as a rumor at best. Several years ago this same site reported rapper Eminem was training to become a WWE superstar (never happened), so consider the source.

Kanye is the ultimate heel. He is hated worldwide, hes cocky, arrogant, gets booed, has mic skills, can cut a great heel promo, the works. He could reform the Nation of Domination..and he hasnt even stepped foot in a wrestling ring yet.

This COULD work. I just hope he 'goes with the program' and doesn't try and make himself look 'better' than wrestling. If he's a professional about it, it could at least be interesting.

The source website has reported false wrestling news stories in the past (Eminem training for a WWE career, VH1’s ‘New York’ appearing at WrestleMania 25) so the Kanye news was treated as a rumor at best. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross addressed the news in his blog (JrsBarBQ.com): “I even saw on the ‘net that it was alleged that WWE had offered Kanye “$10M” to step in the ring and wrestle which is so outlandish and ridiculous that it’s insane.

Yea. Xero sent me a link that had a few pics of that girl saying it would be my dream girl. The funny thing is I was talking to a few co-workers about how I still get jokes from other wrestling fan about my Kane mask tattoo earlier that night.
