Ken Anderson's blaming Randy privately

Quote:

Ken Anderson (former WWE star Mr. Kennedy) has continued to privately blame Randy Orton for his release from WWE. Anderson had actually hinted this in some recent interviews, but has never fully come out and said it.

It should be noted that both Anderson and Orton were thought of by many wrestlers as being good friends and he was said to be very unhappy about the whole situation since his wife and Orton’s wife were good friends as well. Many people close to the situation didn’t believe Orton had anything to do with Anderson’s firing, although the timeline of events seem to match up. This includes Kennedy dropping Orton on his bad shoulder during his first match back on Raw and Orton giving Anderson a big talk backstage afterwards that everyone was aware of. Then, a few days later, Anderson was released by the company.

This is of course the timeline that Anderson has been spelling out and discussing in interviews and why he feels this to be the case. Anderson did make it clear that Triple H often criticized his promos for being “too comedic for a main event” (which many find interesting considering Triple H’s involvement with DX). One thing that is clear is that he had some major heat on him within WWE over the public interviews about steroids (which he later tested positive for) and the general feeling is that the situation with Orton was the last straw of sorts. Plus, keep in mind when all of this went down during the “Denver Dabacle” week in what many described as a time where a lot of decisions made weren’t that rational.
I really wish they could just bring him back and stuff.:-\

Sixx 09-24-2009 03:51 PM

Hm, I actually kind of agree with him.

cenassoldier 09-24-2009 03:59 PM

me too, but what is the name of his wife?
i know that randy orton is married in 2007 with a girl named samantha?

Sixx 09-24-2009 04:00 PM

How is that even important?

Read a tabloid or two, bitch.

Triple Naitch 09-24-2009 04:01 PM

Pamela

GD 09-24-2009 04:02 PM

I would totally do her.

GD 09-24-2009 04:03 PM

Pamela...Kamela man I am getting Horny. :P

cenassoldier 09-24-2009 04:04 PM

was just wondering.

GD 09-24-2009 04:04 PM

Whoa! back to the topic.

cenassoldier 09-24-2009 04:05 PM

yes, agreed

GD 09-24-2009 04:06 PM

IMO, Ken is a complete WWE package. There is no way he will achieve the WWE level of stardom even though if he has multiple reigns as the TNA Champion.

Supreme Olajuwon 09-24-2009 04:08 PM

The height of WWE's popularity came when Rock, Austin, Foley and Triple H were all cutting comedic promos. Fuck off, Paul.

GD 09-24-2009 04:13 PM

Agreed.

Mr. Nerfect 09-24-2009 04:43 PM

Randy Orton seems to be a bit of a dick at times. Didn't get get Eugene another shot in the WWE, and then bitch about how out of shape he was? It wouldn't surprise me if Orton was behind Mr. Kennedy's release from the WWE. Kennedy was a good talent -- solid in the ring and on the mic. He had that extra charisma factor, too. If he had stuck around, I'd have liked to have seen him win the WWE Title this year, just to freshen things up.

Triple H often says stuff that contradicts what he is doing. I wonder if he just talks a lot of shit to be ironic or whatever, or if he is just a dick. I can't remember the last time I heard a completely serious John Cena promo.

Afterlife 09-24-2009 04:45 PM

I would very happily welcome Mr. Kennedy back.

Mr. Nerfect 09-24-2009 04:50 PM

Even if they put him on ECW, where he could "be punished" for whatever it is he did, and maybe even get some credibility out of being the ECW Champion before he gets re-inserted to one of the other brands. Hell, the idea of Michael Hayes booking him right now sends shivers down my spine.

GD 09-24-2009 04:53 PM

A heelish Kennedy is what I would love to see.

Afterlife 09-24-2009 04:55 PM

Mr. Kennedy's surprise return at the Royal Rumble. He is eliminated, but he's the last member of the *surprise* ECW roster in the match. Therefore, he gets an ECW title match at Mania.

screech 09-24-2009 05:06 PM

I definitely would love to see him back. I wouldn't even mind if he re-debuted on ECW, since I always watch (and enjoy) the show. I have been saying he should be World Champion for a while now. Shame politics [seemingly] ruined his chances.

Also, I agree with

He'll be back.

Kami Raki 09-24-2009 06:08 PM

Even so, I wonder why everyone says he's dangerous in the ring.

That sounds good, but only if he came back as a heel. I could never get into Kennedy as a face and to me, he was much better as a heel. :-\

Sure, at the Royal Rumble he comes back as a face, but maybe make him attack a face ECW Champion thus, making him heel.

Nicky Fives 09-24-2009 06:40 PM

He won't be back..... and I love the Gina Carano sig

Johnny Vegas 09-24-2009 06:45 PM

I love Jeff Hardy to death, but as many chances as he has received, Kennedy should be a no-brainer.

thedamndest 09-24-2009 07:17 PM

He was great several years ago. But between the inconsistent booking, injuries, and suspension, I don't care if he never sets foot in a WWE ring again. Kennedy is still a relative rookie compared to many others on the roster. You only get so many times to come in and tell us THIS time you're going to wow us.

DrA 09-24-2009 07:50 PM

Mr. Kennedy seemed like some no name wrestler that you would see on Velocity. He was loud and flamboyant, but there was no substance to what he said. He's one of those guys that can only do well if the rest of the roster is really good. A filler wrestler.

Ol Dirty Dastard 09-24-2009 07:55 PM

If he's blaming Orton privately shouldn't we not know about it?

DrA 09-24-2009 07:56 PM

Actually I kind of take that back. I am trying to imagine what it would be like if The Rock and Mr. Kennedy had a feud eleven years ago, with Mr. Kennedy going blah blah blah on his custom microphone and with The Rock being at the announce table mocking how much he is talking even though Kennedy can't hear him. That would have been some good stuff.

abec 09-24-2009 07:57 PM

I'd rather watch Fraiser than hear Mr Boringdy on the mic. Christ....... Christ.

Ol Dirty Dastard 09-24-2009 08:24 PM

Mr. Boringdy? dude... really?

Indifferent Clox 09-24-2009 08:26 PM

Fraiser is fucking awesome.

I honestly think Kennedy didn't really get a fair shake, and that he deserves to get another chance, as it seems obvious to me that either RAW or SmackDown! (probably RAW more, though) could use a guy like him, especially given how relatively weak the main event scene on RAW is. I mean, with his last return I was honestly hoping he'd get beyond the glass ceiling, but he didn't and it just seems like WWE were too easily content to let go of a tremendous talent just from one mistake in particular, and perhaps Orton's backstage string-pulling, dunno.

BigDaddyCool 09-24-2009 10:42 PM

Mr. Kennedy is god gift to nothing. He is boring, bland, and medicore at best. He isn't big enough to be a threat in the ring, he isn't entertaining enough to be special on the mic. All he did was say his name twice and use a special drop down mic. Take away the gimmick mic and the double name, he had nothing special.

Afterlife 09-24-2009 10:56 PM

Take away anyone's gimmick and they're just a guy. Unless you're a giant like Khali, which is a gimmick in and of itself.

Apparently he was good enough to at least have held the U.S. Championship, even if it was only once, and had he not gotten injured following Mania 23, he probably would have gone on to capture WWE or World Heavyweight Championship gold, so let's not forget those two important points regarding Kennedy's level of skill and talent.

That was actually the only thing that jumped out at me in that whole article. Triple H is a hater.

Emperor Smeat 09-25-2009 02:16 AM

Kennedy defiantly had potential to be a huge star, especially with him in contact with Stone Cold to get tips and help on how to be better. His main problem was injuries at the worst times possible and being caught up in the steroids controversy.

His push with the Money in the Bank and then loosing it from an injury that was less severe than in reality probably was the turning point in killing his momentum as a rising star.
